Twilight princess on game cube

Everybody has been talkin about TP on Wii but dose anyone know anything in particular about the GC version (especially the control scheme

control scheme will most likely be like the windwakers.......the only thing different between the wii TP and the GC one is the controls the graphics are the same and so is everything else

nah m8 iv'e heard (could be wrong) but an article said that wii tp has next gen graphics so i do't think that the GC can be able to do such things.

Not really. Wii TP shows more resolution lines then the GC version. In result; there is slightly more lighting effects and the textures appear to be smoother. Nothing too significant though.

Since TP is basically a modified version of WW; I'd imagine the control scheme for TP to be very similar to that of WW.

Yeah i know thats what im afriad of.... Seems like everything is aimed at the Wii version and nothing has been brought up on the GC version, i just hoped they didnt slack at the last moment and did make it exactly the same like the Wii version (besides the obvious of course). Myself im getting the GC version, but im waiting for reviews on the GC version, i dreading to see that GC versions ratings will be well below Wii, i know its stupid but i just think it may happen.

Of course it's going to be exactly the same as the Wii Version. The only difference is the Mirror and the Controls.

Im getting it for the GC,i dont want to get a Wii just for the little details, like Mirroring.

I am getting it for GC too, unless I some how manage to get money for a Wii and a TP... but if i only have enough for one its going to be TP.

Anyways, both games graphics will probably be about the same, Wii being a bit more better and stuff. but only difference will be is the controls.

Largely correct -- the Wii port can up-rez the graphics to 480p if one uses component cables with an HD input, but all reports indicate that such cables are going to be scarcer than hen's teeth during the first few months of release.

And it's nothing even close to the Xbox 360's enhanced, 720p capabilities...true HD, rather than "last-gen" specifications; and even the Wii version is lacking the subtle graphical shading of the next-gen consoles, though now apparently the unanimous review consensus is that the gameplay design and polish completely trump this deficiency.

I read that the only difference between the two Twilight Princess versions is that the Wii is mirrored, the controls are different & that the Wii version can be played in 16:9.

The guide will cover both version gladly enough. ^_^

I've already read the manual to the Wii version so I won't have to do so next month. 23 days & counting.

This probably sounds stupid , but the GC actually has a really powerfull graphics chip that few games took advantage of it properly

First of all the XBOX 360's graphics are ***** compared to the wii or PS3 an secondly no offence, but stop trying to sound smart with all that technical crap, I mean 480p BY WHAT and besides for a hd tv 480 by any thing is boll*x for example im typing this reply out on PDA with a 320*480 screen and is 3.5 inches imgine how crap that would look on oh...say.... a 39 inch screen (seeing as hd screens tend to be big). Also the hd cables will probably use one of the wii's universel ports so the cables really shoudn't be scarce at all (could of cource be wrong) I appologize for any possible offence

Basically, it's going to be a bigger, refined, ocarina of time...at least that's what I think.

Well, Wii (man i still cant get over that name) TP will be insane graphics wise, but GC TP should still be pretty good. I think i might have to go for the GC version. getting both a PS3 and a Wii will be a major strain on my fundage. I should probably just chose one. (but i really want PS3)

But if only the wii has mirroring... than that means LESS than 70 hours of gameplay on the gc. I'm going to pay for my 70 hours of gameplay and I WANT it. Give me my 70 hours of gameplay. GIVE IT TO ME NOW!!!...

....or ya know around December 13th.

err..... how does mirroring the game make more gamer time. I think you confused the game on the Wii has just been flipped over, there like the same game.

The wii version is flipped. Link is right handed, his hair gos the other way, the whole map is oppisite of the GC version. just imagine its like playing the game in a mirror.

That made absolutely no sense. Do you people even know what mirroring is? Is the same game but every thing is reversed. Example: Link holds his sword in his left hand in GC version but in the wii version he holds it in his right.
