Another pointless point to ponder about TP.

In WW you were able to pick up the weapons of your fallen foes. This hasn't been seen in any of the TP trailers to date but I thought I'd ask anyways. Do you think that TP will have useable enemy weapons?

it would be very good if you could. but for some strange reason i cant see it beening able to TP

I didnt use any of the enemys weapons to fight with in WW..

wel it was said you would be able to steal enemy weapons,cuz you have to do it in the beginning of the game (steal from some guy) but i don't know if that is for shure

Well its not like you had to use them. It was just fun to use a darknut's sword cause it was easily two times as tall as Link. Its pretty funny to think about that. Cause if I picked up a sword as wide and twice as tall as me I would fall over. lol
I hope for useable two handed weapons in TP. Biggoron's sword FTW!

Well you can steal the enemies boars, can't see why you can't pick up there weapons. Although they may of scrapped the idea. I'd stick with Link's sword anyday though.

I hope that you can pick up weapons because there is just something fun about destroying a monster with its own weapon. It would be good to have another part in the game where you have to use the weapons stolen from your opponents.

Its not good having to wait all the way down here in New Zealand is it V99? and im getting the gamecube version...

For some reason it does not really worry me.
But what I am annoyed about is the Wii costs $500 over here. Throw in TP, $110, and another Wii-Mote by itself, $95.

Total = $703.98
That's only US $464.35...

Now that's quite alot of money, for only a Wii, Wii Sports, TP and 2 Wii-Motes.

it had no point but there was something immensly satisfying in destroying your enemys with their own weapon. i hope that you can pickl them up. just for fun.

I hope not. It added no value in fun or general gameplay to WW. They were so slow for one thing. It was just a pointless and rather boring gameplay feature. If they made it better and actually meaningful it might be cool. But if they just throw it in their like they did for WW, than I'd rather they would focus on other stuff that would actually make the game better.

I imagine that TP is built on a modified WW engine, so Its probable that the enemy weapon pickup feature is still included, unless Nintendo decided to take it out...but why do that?

I liked to pick up the Darknut's swords and throwing them at other, weaker enemies, espiecially the Moblins. I also liked to use that huge sword to smash the stone pillars in that room in Tower of the Gods. Other than that, I never really used the enemies weapons all that much. Those long stick things that the Moblins carried around with them over their shoulders were too slow, and left you open to enemy attacks. That, and I didn't like the machetes the Bokoblins had. The way Link swung them just didn't feel right to me... I guess that's why Nintendo scrapped the idea of using the enemie's weapons against them, because not many people used them. I look forward to stealing the boars, however.

How old is this. TP is already out.

I have the game, and you cannot pick up enemy weapons. You can steal their boars though.

There is one instance where you steel an enemy weapon. I love it... won't say what it is
