Link's Sasquatch Friend {Possible Spoilers}

What role do you think this sasquatch-guy will play?
I think that he is an ancestor of Anjui who owns many cats. "I'm allergic to cats, can you collect 10000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 of them in 30 seconds?" Or he is some dietie of the forest. Not sure. Post your theories here.

I can't tell if this is a serious post or not.

Anyways, this creature has been talked about in the past. Most people theorized that this might be the new Deku Tree; but we have no idea. It might not even be in the game anymore (since this picture is about a year old). We can only wait until TP actually comes out (which is in just nine days!). Until then; we'll never know.

Well it is partially a serious post but the whole Anjui ancestor thing was an example to get people's ideas going. His hands do like kind of branch-ish maybe TP is going for a tree-people look about the great deku tree? But then again, that would be kind of unoriginal being as how most fantasy movies(Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Narnia, and more) have trees with humanoid like characteristics. I wish they'd have something just so bizarre that it isn't a retelling of any of the King Arthur stories. Because if you really think about it, most sci-fi & fantasy/epic hero movies are retellings of the ancient Literature scripts such as Beowulf and more.

I hope he's in it,he looks awesome,haha. Maybe he is related to the deku tree. But then why didn't they talk about him in the forest temple interview? Wouldnt he hook up with the forest? But that was the Faron woods and deku tree is Kokirir Forest/Lost woods. So maybe there ill be more than one forest?

I always though that it was possible fr him to be A Decendent of the "Deku Tree" or something like that.

Well, he's defunitely got somehting to do with cats because the cats are in the same forest.

My first thought was that it was a good guy, but as I started to go all deep and completely digress, I assumed the stance of link looked like he was suspicious of the creature.... ready to fight? Can't speculate too much, we get way off topic if we do that. Though it is fun, and I suppose that's what a forum is for anyway.

I think I'm going to go through every TP picture on IGN... just to waste some time until my girlfriend gets here. I need to get myself hyped up so I can annoy her.

Can you see that he´s wielding the Master sword and the Hylian shield in the pic? Well, in the first temple, the forest temple, he has the Ordon shield and sword, so there you have: This is later in the game, after the first three temples (wich is when you take the MS, I believe).

But this is rather old... anything could´ve changed. But this doesn´t seem as a random thing, so most probably it´s till in the game.
