Re: Whats the Release date for TP GC version in Australia?

DO you think its possible to get the GC version of twilight princess without pre-ordering it? This may surprise you but I live 60km from the nearest video game store (that doesn't bother me much.). 100km in the other direction and I cancelled my pre-order (rather reluctantly.) I'm going to be away when it comes out and EB only holds your order for a very short amount of time. Getting a wii console isn't an option.

That all depends if the store is popular or not. They've been taking pre-orders for a couple years now. You might want to talk over with the EB games manager (that way you'll know for sure).

Re: Whats the Release date for TP GC version in Australia?

Well a couple of months ago (or even three or four) I sold a few games to EB and instead of cash I put it on Twilight Princess. I still have the receipts and they will still have the records, so is that a pre-order? Is it also possible to change my 60bucks deposit on to the Wii version? Because theres a chance I might buy a Wii $400 and pay $40 for the Wii TP. That adds up to $440 and I get to play TP on Wii on December 7th. Or I wait another week and pay $40. It all depends on whether the Wii is even good or not. If its not that great I probably won't buy it, but what are your suggestions?

If you put money down on a game that hasn't been released yet, then yes, it's considered a pre-order.

I'm not sure what you're asking. Are you saying you want to change your deposit on the GC version to the Wii version of TP? No, you can't do that. Correct me if I misunderstood that sentence.

From what I've seen and heard about the Wii version of TP; everyone gives it nothing but praise. However, it's entirely for you to decide.

You might want to try out both versions for yourself though. Try renting the GC version, and see if you like it. Then ask a friend (if one of your friends has one) if you can try out Wii version and see if you like it (or try it at a store if they have the demo version). Compare the two, and settle the dilemma on your own.

That's just me though.

Hopefully I'll be able to try the Wii version out.

But I was trying to say if its possible to take my $60 deposit off GC Zelda and just put it on my Wii and get my Wii TP for 40 dollars cheaper? And this is when Wii TP is already out by the way.

As long as you have the receipt showing that you made the pre-order, then there shouldn't be any problems. If you don't have it; then it's up the employees (or in some case, the manager) whether or not they'll cancel your pre-order and refund your money.
