Character appearance customization.

What would you think of being able to change Link's hair style/color, and clothes? He would still keep the wizard shaped hat, but eveything else you could change. Change the color and type of clothes to be the kind of warior you want Link to be.

With all the different secondary weapons you get in the games, you can be different kinds of warriors. I'm sure that different people use different weapons as primary C button items, so what if they went a step further with clothing appearance?

I don't think so.. Maybe the clothes color, but the Hair? Nu-uh.

Don't mess with the hair, huh? So which 'do' do you like best? I think in the early games it was like TWW, but without the sidelocks. They changed it in OoT and MM, then went back to ALttP and added sidelocks.

Well the colour changed from brown to pink (ALTTP) to blond. Blonde just seems right these days though. I wouldn't change anything bu the tunics/equipment

I like how Link is normally. The fact that he maintains that classic hairstyle and cloths is one thing I love about it. It'd be ok if we could customize Link, but I don't think I'd use him much.

Also, whenever I play I usually have the Bow, Hookshot, and instrument all equipped, so I can defend well against flying enemies and such. I'd only want it if each piece of clothing did magical things, like strike fire at those that attack you etc.

Some breastplate or chainmail would be good, but not fullbody armor. I don't see him as a Darknut kind of soldier, with everything covered in platemail.

Yeah,i guess,it'd be cool if each set of armour has its on strengths and weaknesses,like in Oblivion.And if the option to customize him is there,people could make into a Darknut kind of soldier,depending on how they play.

His hair? I like it as it is in TP better than any game so far, except maybe LA. I'm mixed there.

A darknut type soldier would suck. He'd be slow. Might look cool, but boring after a while. Maybe if you could have cloths like in LA where yo got a Defense boost or a Attack boost depending on the color.

Everyone has a different way of playing,and if you could customize his armour,you could match it to the c-stick weapons.For example if you like using the hammer,and other big weapons,you could suit darknut syle armour.If you were using the bow,you could wear lighter armour like chainmail.

But you know that won't be any Zelda games. Then it'd be turning into a RPG of sorts.

I watched a flash movie of him, and I think he wears a white vest this time. That's interesting.

Customization is always cool to me, hich is why I love Link having all those secondary weapons and tools.

In LoZ, I used the boomerang or the wand as my B weapon. In OoT, it was the bow, ocarina, and the hammer. In TWW, I used the sail, telescope, and waker on the boat. In dungeons it was the bow, boomerang, and hammer.

I always used the sail,the wind waker and the boomerang on the boat,so i could take care of those damn sharks.

In dungeons i used the bow,the hammer and the boomerang.

Use the R button to jump. Sometimes I equip the hookshot so I can react more quickly when I spot sunken treasure.

Yeah. Between the sword and those three items, you can own every enemy. Especially after you get the magic arrows. Use light arrows on the occasional Armos Knight, and things like that.

I'd be sort of a pointless feature (well, I think so). Detailed customization is never good with action/adventure games. Some people might think it's a good idea, but I doubt Nintendo will make it happen. Besides, Link's green hat and tunic has sort of been his trademark thing.

I would like to be able to choose which clothes link wears, and perhaps be able to have link wear the clothes of previous link's.

But I really don't feel the need to change his hairstyle, that's really the only defining characteristic of each link.
