Do you guys realize...

That it will be probably over two weeks after the 19th before people start popping up around the forums saying "I just beat TP". And that's playing 5 hours a day! which most of us don't have time to do. 70 hours is a long time. So it'll be probably the first days of December before any of us common folk have experienced the ending of twilight princess for ourselves..... that just blows me away

Eh, I guess. But I bet there will be atleast one fan who will skip school and finish it. *Cough*

well i have no job right now... and im waiting for next semester at ECU. so i might go like.... hmmmm i dont know. three days straight. haha.

It's being released on the first day of Thanks Giving holidays for me. Give me three days and it will be done. I beat Kingdom Hearts II 100% in four, I think I can minimalist TP in three. This is of course assuming that I fail to get it out of my store on shipping day (17th). If I don't fail I could have it done on the 19th.

Yeah Im gonna go inactive for a while. No offense silver arrow, but people like you are the reason I dont play videogames much anymore. Its not you though its just people who say stuff like "Oh yeah I'll beat it quick and boast and talk about it and spoil it for everyone!".

I wont be able to get it for a while, so yeah I am REAAAALLLLY jealous! If any of you get it, please dont spoil anything for me! I want the first time I play it to be a bigger surprise then Majoras Mask. (TWW was totally spoiled for me before I got it!)

im with you hero... i hate to see a post or bulletin for any game that isn't labeled *spoilers* and then you read and your like what the hell. it takes all of the fun out of the story. i know me and my friends will be on the phone asking each other how we did stuff or calling to be like "Hah im ahead of you!" but for the most part i like to figure out stuff on my own. my above post about staying awake for three days... haha it wont happen ill pass out from swinging my arm around too much! i give myself about two weeks to beat it and be satisfied.

I don't post spoilers. At most I'll create a TP help thread for people going though the game. I hate spoilers and wouldn't think of ruining the game for anybody. I just lack self control and will play until I collapse.

I´ll try to reach the end of the game in the longest time possible, no joke.

Of course I´ll not exagerate, I´ll try to make every single sidequest, and try to collect everything, and just spend a lot of time just roaming and contemplating everything.

And after I finish the game, I´ll have some time to backtrack (is it called like that?) and collect just everything.

And if, with a bit of luck, there is some extra features after finishing the game, as an extra sidequest or something... well, that´d be a nininice surprise!

I'm gonna take it at an enjoyable pace... the way I tend to. However, games have a tendancy to suck me in... I logged almost 60 hours into Oblivion within my first month and a bit of owning it, and I beat Paper Mario TYD in something like two weeks... not gruelling paces, but still considerable.

That's exactly what I'm going to do too, MadCucco. Explore every bit of every area I will be in. And then move on, but just when I know that I've found everything there is to be found there, wich I know I wil not be able to do in the first run, just cause I'm not like that.
About the spoilers...PLEASE people, when you beat the game, IF you beat the game earlier than everybody else ( ) DON'T POST AND WRITE ABOUT IT. We don't want to know. I don't want my game ruined, so I'm warning you right now!!! lol

Actually taking as long as possible isnt a bad idea. You get to do all the side quests (I hope and I mean I REAAAALLLLY HOPE there are sidequests, if there arent, its no zelda game for me....) and unlock the full features of the game. If you just rush through the game to see how fast you can beat it, you skip everything in between! And thats no fun.....Well I guess you could play em after you beat it, but that wouldnt be any fun!

I don't wanna beat TP in 3 to seven days, or even a month. I want it to last as long as possible.

I need to beat it quickly or else my friend will rag on me about how he beat it before me. Can't let that happen, so I beat it quickly, then replay it immediately for my 100% file. Thus has been my pattern for all Zelda games.

I have a whole week off of classes to play TP, now, I will probably beat the game in that free week, but for the sake of others, I think it would be beneficial for all ZUsers to refrain from posting any:

Why should they close the spoiler section? If people don't want to be spoiled, then shouldn't be looking in the spoiler forum.

I'll probably beat TP as soon as I can (making way through my "schedule" for anything else but playing TP). I'll be force myself into solitary confinement in my bedroom. I have no idea how long it'll take me (but I know it won't take me a month).

I'de be fine with keeping the spoiler section open, but there are always the immature trigger happy ZUsers that would post spoilers in the GC (regular) thread, the future zelda thread, and the general zelda thread, and I know for a fact that some people will join ZU after TP just to spoil the game for others by posting in community thread and such.

Totally agree with you there.
It won't be hard to strech the game out because:

a) I have school
b) I have work
c) I'll have other Wii games at the same time (four others at launch +more when they come out).

I'll be busy. Very busy.

Hmm, I expect I'll probably take two to three weeks to finish it. I'll start out, as some have said, taking my sweet time, going as far as I can on side quests, and just generally reveling in the beauty of the world. But knowing myself, I'll probably get impatient with that after a while, and continue on relatively linearly (not racing, but not going back in time to nab that one skulltula that I now can obtain thanks to my new item either, for an OoT-like example), meaning that depending on how many side quests there are, I may spend more or less time afterwords to complete them all. I likeed the camera quest from WW, but unfortunately, I doubt that will be in TP...

Well, thats kinda unfair on us folk who're getting TP later than you.

I've be in my room for much of Thanksgiving, but I'll probably bring the Wii downstairs for a family party. Maybe by then I can get a second Wiimote too.

As for posting online, once I finish my marathon (hopefully by Nov. 19) you won't see much of me for a while.
