Evolution (possible spoilers)

We all know that the Koroks evolved from the Kokiri... and that the Rito evolved from the Zora... Twilight Princess is suppose to be more or less a middle ground between OoT and TWW. Has anyone else thought of the Kokiri/Korok and Rito/Zora hyrbids? If you remember what Medli said about the grappling hook, you should probably expect it in TP, either for use or with the Rito/Zora hyrbrid. Just somethin I thought of while playing TWW today...

theres a grapling shot in TP, a hybring hookshot & grapling hook...

That´s unlikely, as TP is supposed to be just decades after OoT. But that would be something interesting...

and Tb17 is right, we´ve got hybrid items.

In fact, I think that TP is an hybrid of many Zelda games, with a touch of itself.

I doubt it. But it is a very cool idea.

The Koroks never evolved, they were transformed through magic, at least I think so. As for others, maybe some changes, but they would just be an evolution in the series, not the species.

according to the interview with those 2 NoA its set 100 years after the child ending in OOT, just thought i`d say.
though i dont take what they say as the truth as we all remember hearing TWW was set 100 years after OOT,when in fact as it said in the game it was 100`s of years.
so im going to wait to hear what it says in the game first, but i think there will be nods to both OOT and TWW in the game

^ No, TP is decades. You misunderstood what they said. It's not a century. Now WW is hundreds of years. Because of so, this is unlikely.

They have reacently said hundreds, and I don't belive there is a split timeline, so ot has to fall somware in between

Oot-->MM--->TP--->WW

its not a split timeline...its just that MM appears to be cuz it just kinda trails off....no followups like WW was to Oot...

Majoras Mask wasnt really true history making...it never interfeared with Ganon or any other villains...its like having a game about the Sheikans...not really related to the actually Ganondorf story...but still part of the hyrule story.

so people just tend to say MM is split off cuz it isn't followed up and doesn't make changed events to TP & WW...

like, MM isn't really "needed" to make sense of the Ganondorf/Sacred Realm story

That would be interesting but unlikely. And why did the zoras a WATER race evolve into something that couldn't sqin when hyrule was FLOODED

it wasnt that they couldnt swim. just that swimming isnt as fast or efficient when living in a sparse ocean with nothing but little spots of land here and there. and so they were given wings by valoo
i can see why some people argue that ritos are not evolved zoras.but theres more evidence to suggest it in game than there is to deny it. i wouldnt say its a definate either way, but i`d rather swing towards the side with the most evidence to back it up

i was thinking the same thing, but i thought TP took place only a few years after MM? it is the EXACT same Link right? he's only a few years older, i think decades is pushing it.

It's the opposite actually. This Link is officially confirmed that he's not the same Link as the one from OOT. And it's also been confirmed that the game takes places few decades (tens of years) after OOT; not a few years.

so its of assumed that its not the same link

As for Zelda...not clue...it could be the old her...who knows
