Interesting details about the possibillity cube controller

Ok first of all sorry if this has been brought up recenty.
I'm sure most of you know that gamespot put up a new interview alittle while back with Bill triten and nate....(forget his last name)

At the end of this interview while bill is talking about how the two games are mirrored Nate makes an interesting comment he says that "even if you play it on your wii with the gamecube controller it will be a completely different experance".

Does that mean we have gamecube controller support, because why would nate say "on you'r wii" even thought Bill was already talking about the differences between the game cube and the wii versions. It would be a cool little bonus to see how much better the wii versions controls are without having to spend another $50

I know it's proboly not true but something about the last part of the interview is fishy to me.

What do you guys and gals think. Me being crazy or a possibilty?

I highly doubt it. There'd be no point to the GC version then. And this late into the "game," Nintendo would have already announced that the GC version would be scraped all together. Nintendo would be losing money (which no company wants) for a pointless idea.

I think he meant play the GameCube version on the Wii, using a GC controller.
Not playing the Wii version with a Wii controller.

He's comparing the GC version to the Wii version.

I'm surprised they havn't scraped the Gcube Months ago. Gamecube has been collecting dust in my room. (Okay not really, I use it daily. But still I havn't bought a new game in months.) So yeah. When I get the Wii I'm giving the Cube to my dad.

Gibdo, did you consider that not everyone can get a wii? If they scrapped the GC version, they'd be losing a lot of money. They can only produce so many Wiis, not like everyone can get one. (I hate lousy stores never got the chance to preorder)

As for the topic, nothing fishy about it. It just saying the wii controller and gc control play a lot differently.
