Okay...i know it is waaaayyyy tooooo early for such a thread ,but i would like to know your opinion about somthing.
Do you think that TP will have any glitches like OoT ,MM or tWW had ?
i mean i know that many people enjoy playing these games because of the glitches.
what would it happen if TP is so polished that there wont be (almost) any glitches in the game ?
would that be a disappointment for you ?
But, whether it's a dissapointment or not depends. If there was a glitch, where when you entered a dungeon the game froze I would not like it.
i was actually trying to say that would it be disappointing if there wouldnt be any glitches ?!
of course...there can be annoying glitches in a game too, but as far as i can remember the zelda glitches werent usually annoying.they were mostly fun in some ways.
Forgive my ignorance but aren't glitches only found on cartridge based games? I don't remember there being any on WW.
Being on a Cartridge doesn't change the fact that it is bsed on Binary like all software is... :p
Software has glitches... that's that.
No it would be cool if Nintendo made something in teh game that you needa glitch to get to... it's crap like that which fuels 'leave the game running for 1000 hours then after 1000 hours and 3 seconds (for each triforce peice) get your ocarina out and play the song of time backwards, you will teleport to the sacred realm and Ganon will make a truce with you and give you the Triforce...'
I wouldn't be disappointed with a lack of glitches, but I would like the "use any item on Epona" glitch.
YuriaTayde-Aquas Metal Guide-SF64-Bossguy...So, yeah... He shoots globs of goo at you... I just don't see how that would help a bunch of monkeys take over the galaxy, unless of course it kills you, then the monkeys win... but in that case, why are you attacking it in the first place?
YuriaTayde-Solar Metal Guide-SF64-Bossguy...is one of the more interesting enemies to fight, but again I wonder, what the heck does it hafta do with galactic domination?! Are they gunna build a heat proofe slingshot to send it to Corneria?... Maybe you flew so close to this planet cause you were bored, that makes a little sence I guess.
TSA already tried a bunch of speed running shortcuts/glitches with the most recent build of TP, and none of them worked, so yes, I think nintendo is making sure that 99% of TP is glitch proof.
meh... Whatever Commit fellatio speedy quadraped! Zelda I love you so much, don't deny me loving you or else I'll give you ADD and out of wed-lock pregnancy 98% of the teen population is cool, 2% aren't
I think you already can use any item on Epona in TP. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but I think I heard Nintendo say it a long time ago.
No, I don't believe Nintendo ever said that (or hinted). Although, I don't think it'd be such a good idea. A bow and a sword are pretty much all that is useful when in combat on a horse (excluding lances).
I could care less if TP has glitches are not. Although, sometimes glitches are fun--but I guess Nintendo wants to make sure this game is perfected *coughfiveyearscough*.
I also don't particularly care if the game has glitches, just as long as the glitches can't damage the game.
Like in Metroid Prime 2, in one room where you solve a certain puzzle, and the door opens, if you leave the room and don't come back, the door will be closed and you'll never be able to open it again, effectively ending your game right there.
I don't want any variations of that in my Twilight Princess. Maybe glitches similar to the Swordless Link, or Fierce Deity Mask anywhere the TP equivalent of the latter being Wolf Link outside the Twilight before you're supposed to, if it's intended at all, or Normal Link inside the Twilight when you're not supposed to.
Zelda games always seem to have the most glitches compared to other games. Especially OoT and MM in there first productions. I would think they were the most glitched games in history to be quite frank. I would hope that TP would become an improvement here, like WW had with having less glitches. Yet if there is any glitches, I hope they are not fatal tp the system or the game itself. That would be bad.
You can have a timeline, or you can have canon, but not both . If one strictly follows the strictest form of canon, the timeline is ultimately destroyed. On the other hand, if one strives to create the most coherent timeline, the canon must be broken by corollary. It is the unfortunate world in which Nintendo has placed us, and now it is up to decide which road we shall follow: the road of truth where nothing can be created, or the road of imagination where nothing can be destroyed.
