No information is BETTER!

I think the less information we get for TP, the better! I for one used to always look for new videos and such... but now I've stopped.

Thankfully I've missed out on quite a lot of new info... I think. Why? I didn't look, I made myself forgot about it.

If you forget about it, delays won't annoy you and most of all - when you finally get the game, THERE WILL BE PLENTY OF SURPRISES!

Just look at the TP Hype thread, there are sooo many videos... it's proberly covering half the game! (Exaggaration). I don't want to see what the temples look like, it lessens the excitemet of getting to a new one when you actually play the game.

Post your comments.

Re: No information is BETTER!

I read an article or interview at IGN, and I think they talked to Miyatmoto. or someone alike. Anyway, he said that we've seen "only the tip of the needle".
And when you think of it... we couldn't have seen half the game in the videos. If that was the case the game would be shorter than Wind Waker. It isn't THAT much. Besides, they did say 100 hours...

Re: No information is BETTER!

well, thank goodness the videos we've seen only cover 1-5%of the game, but even then, what we have is enough to get a baisc understand of what TP is all about, large overworld, the dark twilight, and wolf link. Thats enough for me, and should be enough for all of you. You don't want the game spooiled do you???

Re: No information is BETTER!

At this point, with a only about a couple to a few months until release, it is much better that they keep everything secret. What's a few more months anyway? There's nothing quite as good as an unspoiled game and with all that there is to TP, we're in for a lot of pleasant surprises. I just can't wait to see how Ganondorf will look like and how he will figure into the storyline. This game is going to rock my socks!

Re: No information is BETTER!

i agree, 1 or 2 new screens wouldn't be all too bad, but revealing big things, would just take away the suprise.

i still remember, following every news update of metroid prime 2 echoes , and kh2. before i knew it everything was already revealed, taken away the element of surprise of the game itself.

Re: No information is BETTER!

I hardly atch any of it, just for not wanting to. I don't usually need treats to keep me interested. TP has been an ongoing process for a while, but you know TWW and TMC would have been better if they had taken more time doing them.

Re: No information is BETTER!

I don't really mind, most people usually know some basic points of the story, aslong as I'm not being introduced to too much of the plot or some of the more interesting parts of the world then I'm not going to like what I'm seeing. If it's a random battle scene in the middle of a dungeon where the focus is the battle and not the dungeon, I'll be good.

It's a good thing I lose interest in most games a couple of years into its development: out of nowhere I realize the game is finally out, and I play it with no hyped expectations and no spoilerage whatsoever.

I've only seen one or two videos myself, all I really want to know is when it will come out, other than that, I perfer to be surprised and leave it at that.

You mean "page" out of your book, right? Yep - you probably should. Luckily, none of the trailers have any actual spoiler material.

Re: No information is BETTER!

I had three bosses ruined because of the videos/screenshots. That's enough for me. I vowed to myself that TP videos/screenshots would never be viewed again, or until purchase.

Re: No information is BETTER!

I´m sure that the thread was started because Kroner readed this article:

http://www.thewiire.com/features/162...s_Make_Spoiled

It´s a good article. Read it. Even before reading that I feeled guilty for watching all of the trailers, seeing all the screenshots and following every single interview. If a new video comes out, I´ll ignore it. Maybe a screenshot or an little interview, but that´s it. I´m spoiled enough.

Re: No information is BETTER!

Great article. I was also unfortunate enough to have watched Aeris' death scene on my PC before getting to that part of the game. Luckily, it wasn't until close to that part of the game that I saw it, so she wasn't "dead to me from the beginning." I also managed to pretend to myself (something I'm good at doing) that I had no idea it was coming and I practically believed it. One thing's for certain, I still felt the emotion of the scene even though it was spoiled. However, I couldn't control myself and also watched the ending movie clips and it is this that made me hate spoilers with a passion. Reading that article, I was reminded of when I reached the dark world in ALttP... I was completely stunned. Just when I thought the game was almost done (you must understand, as a child it took me years to complete ALttP - I wasn't very puzzle-minded) I find out that I'm nowhere near finished and I didn't see it coming at all. Maybe this is why video games were a lot more exciting as a child. I never had a clue of what a game was about until I actually played it. Dammit! I wish I didn't know anything about the Twilight and Link turning into a wolf! Not to mention what happens in the beginning of the game... All that is ruined for me. Well that tears it - I'm not even going to think about TP until it gets released. I am now on temporary leave from the future Zelda forum.

Re: No information is BETTER!

Well, I reckon that just enough info has been released for TP. It leaves us intreiged and makes us want the game, then fills in the gaps like a mystery. You are left guessing throughout the game.
