Will Midna be Annoying?

Some thought that Navi was annoying, me personally thought she was and it stunk you could not turn her off in the options menu. Minda is almost the same thing but in one of the trailers it shows Minda just pops out to tell you about a magnet and you don't even get a choice if you want to answer her unlike Navi's famous "HEY"! Yes, I know that that Navi sometimes did that like in the Great Deku Tree when you tried to open the door but that was for beginners. for the rest of the OOT we mostly had a choice. but the Goron mines seems to be a temple in the middle of TP. Link already has bow and arrows, the "clawshot", the boomerang, and I think one more item I can't remember. If Minda is going to talk and interrupt you that much, Then I think that TP should have an option where you can turn off Minda's hints.

Write if you think Minda will be annoying and if TP should have an option where you can turn her off.

No, I don't think she will be annoying. Even though some of what Navi said was obvious, she did help at times. And, seeing that TP will be so grand, with so much content and whatnot, Midna will most likely be alot more helpful than Navi. Besides, I like the character, just like I liked Navi.

Midna did not pop up randomly without control. Watch the video again,the top part of the control pad on screen has the icon of midna glowing. The player must have pressed up on the control pad to make her appear like up C as in OOT.

People who found Navi annoying will find Midna annoying as well I guess, I personally don't care, navi was only annoying to me after my 10th time going trough the game.

Only if you let Midna be annoying. For me, I was in a right state of mind to not be effected at all from Navi's cries that others can't stand when I played OoT.

But I think Nintendo will do a good job on Midna and not make her too Navi-ish. If not... well, that would be rather redundant -.-

If you hated Navi because all of her "Hey!", Midna will be as annoying as Navi. Maybe they change the hint mechanics, but for now... meh.

For the demo Midna was constantly "equipped" but for the real game I suspect she will function more like an equipable item.

Navi is awesome, I love her cute little baby voice I don't think Midna will be that annoying either. Her role will probably just be to explain things at the start of the game, then after that she'll become a regular character like Navi did. Although Navi did give pretty persistant reminders about where you should be heading next in the game. I hope Midna isn't like that.

Nintendo knows not to do another Navi. Midna will probably be a little annoying, but not so bad as she could've been.

She does make that little high-pitched noise, though. It's kinda like "Niyaaaa!" in a really singsong way. It's pretty annoying.

It doesn't matter if she's annoying or not, as long as she's useful in a way.

I really don't want a magial jingle either, I don't midna to tell me that it would be beneficial to shoot those far away archers.

I don't think Mindy...I mean Midna will be an annoyance. OoT would have been near impossible for me to get through the first time without Navi. And like Forgetreality, I didn't even really mind her being there untill after I had been through the game a few times and had no more need for her.

This Midna will probably not be that annoying. I did not find Navi annoying at all, and it takes quite the effort to annoy me.

Though, I must admit having already read the owl's speech and then accidentally pressing "Say it again/I don't understand" is quite annoying.

Yeah I agree... I never really found Navi that annoying... But I do think the 'little tune' will be even better than her saying 'Hey, Listen!" all the time... But honestly, it doesn't matter to me.

I think Navi is adorable.

But I will only find Midna a little bit annoying, if they try to hard to give her an "attitude." Sometimes Tatl/Tetra's sarcasm/cynicisim sounded a bit forced and fake.

We won't know until we play the game, which isn't a long wait.

I think they should do like they did with Tatl and tKoRLs. Just have them say something when they should, mostly just point out where you head next and let you figure out how to get there and saying something when something important happens.

Considiring you can summon Midna yourself: no she won't be annoying.Navi was annoying not only because of her voice("HEY!")but also because you had no control over whenever she says "HEY!".
