News on Wii?

Ok i didnt really know were to put this thread, so I made it here. I was just watching EP (Electric Playground) almost 15 minutes ago, and they were talking about some Avatar game. A girl asked what platforms it would be used on and the guy said, "All three platforms, and the Wii, which I belive comes out in late October."

If this was already posted, or we already know the release date for the Wii, sorry I wasted your time. But I just wanted you to all know what was happening.

There is NO, and I repeat, NO official date/price from Nintendo. They are holding a Nintendo event on the 14th of September from 10-4 and IGN has been invited. The invitation states "Nintendo of Americal personally invites you to experience our upcoming line up with Nintendo of America President Reggie Fils-Aime". So hopefully the date for the Wii will be announced there and TP should be there since it does state "our upcoming line up". If TP is still scheduled to come out this year, then it should qualify as part of the upcoming line up.

The words "I believe" would mean it's what he thinks and not the official date. Sep 14th should be the day we find out the official release date.

Well now that's getting somewhere and quite interesting... I must struggle through some more college days for this...
