Something that's been bothering me...

Here's a thought. Let's say you get the GCN version of TP, but you intend to sell your GCN and replace it with a Wii the instant of launch. What's been bothering me is the question of whether the GCN version will be playable on the Wii. I'm assuming this is the case because of backwards compatibility, but my gut's been worrying about it for quite some time, and I've learned to trust my gut. When I don't, I usually end up screwed. I'd just like some confirmation. I suppose I could just exchange my preorder of the GCN TP for the Wii version, but...I'm not entirely sure I want to, even with the new announcement about swordplay. If it were free-hand, that'd be a different story (though I don't see how they could accomplish that in a 3rd-person game with a free camera).

The Wii can play GCN games. As such you can buy the GCN version of TP and can play it on the Wii.
