Ganondorf as main Character. Yes or no?

I had a thought what if Ganondorf was the person you control. Have him fight the good guys and fight Link. You know, stuff like that. You decide and say why.

You should add a maybe option to the poll. I feel that it would be an interesting idea, if they can pull it off right. They did it for Paper Mario 2, and I had a ton of fun doing the Bowser sections there. That's how I feel they should do it if you could control Ganondorf, give him only small bits to play as him, because really, do you play LoZ other than to play as Link?

I am talking about the whole game.

The whole game as Ganondorf? Nah, it just wouldn't work. Zelda's about fighting Ganny, not playing as him.

Okay we will stick with parts as Ganondof.

I've always wanted to play a Zelda game where Ganondorf/Ganon was at least an ally (if only momentarily). It was done in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars & Bowser was one of my favorites. That game made me all the more hopeful, but I'm not sure Ganon (in any of his incarnations) will be viable as a playable character or ally except in Smash Bros. Melee (not sure about Brawl until more information comes out).

I would love to lay as Ganondorf, that would be so amuzing. But, most of his attacks are magic, so you'd run out of that really quick. Also, how would there be dungeons? Ganondorf awoken the beasts inside, and I doubt Link or Zelda would, because they would probably destroy Hyrule.

And maybe, if collect something, or somehow get enraged, you can turn into Ganon, MAN THAT WOULD BE SO COOL!

Yeah it would be kind of weird to be Ganondorf/Ganon but it would be awesome to play as him. Other than Smash. Maybe as an ally maybe in like Twilight Princess maybe...or a future Zelda game.

I think it would be sweet if their was a game were you controlled Ganon/Ganondorf. It would be a nice change in the series, in my opinon.

Maybe someone else tries to destroy Hyrule that is too strong for Link and Ganondorf/Ganon and they have to work together.

Yeah that would be very interesting. It would freaking awesome! But who would be stronger than Link or Ganondorf though?

If it was a small sidestory, like an unlockable feature, perhaps a little adventure to explain how ganondof escaped from his prison underneath the sea or somthing like that, but I would never want to play a whole game as ganon.

It wouldn't fit into TP, not at all. It would be cool if a game showed up called "The legend of Zelda - Ganondorf's story" or something like that. You play as G-dorf and we get to see exactly how he was doing while Link [Your main villain] was looking for Zelda or something...

The whole game? Absolutly not, I'm more thinking of option sort of Paper Mario's Bower Levels, at the end of every chapter. Maybe something that will happen later, in a cell-shaded zelda or something. Somehow I think it suits that better.

I personally think that such a gmae would be the best possible thing that coudl happen to the series. Why? Because not only does it allow us greater insite into our villain, but it also allow the game itself to be approached completely differently as we would not be playing an equipment based character. The best way to do it in my eyes woudl be to play as a young Ganondorf, well before his current motivations are set and powers gained. That way we needn't play as an 'evil' character and can instead play the game as if it stared Link, only not quite.

Ganon once again the main villain, yes.
Ganon having an entire game where he is playable, not so much.

I love Ganon, I honestly wouldn't mind if he were the main bad guy in every game. But I think actually playing him would cross the line a little. It would be weird.
And if you played him in the game, you'd have a chance to pass said game. And if you passed it, that means Ganon wins, and evil prevails, right? That isn't very Zelda-ish in my opinion.

As the main character, that would be a bad game. If you did a combination of Paper Mario 2 and Ultimate Spiderman and how they switch from hero to villian, than yes, that would be pretty cool. Main character, no.

Yes, to temporary ally, no to playing as him. I have really liked the command melody off of Wind Waker, Link is the star. However, having him as a temporary ally for part of the game would be great.

Well i think it would be awesome 'cause you could see the game from a different angle (evil angle}=)>) and that would be awesome you use ganondorfs awesome sword and you ride that horse that he rides in the forest temple and you get to FIGHT link so thated be an intresting game i would look into it if they ever made it...
