The Music in TP

What about the music?!

This is what songs I hope will be in TP.

• The title theme from the original Zelda
• The main overworld theme (the one we know and love)
• The "inside the house" theme
• Inside the Deku Tree (more upbeat)
• Inside the castle theme (Alttp version)
• A Tingle theme song (if he's in it)
• Karkirio Village Theme
• Saria's Song (Remix)
• Death Mountain (Alttp)
• Lost Woods (Alttp) or Minish Woods
• Dark World Theme (For Twilight Realm)
• Labyrith Theme (MC)
• Different Music for each boss (like WW)

There are some others but I can't think of them right now. I just hope there aren't so many new songs that it replaces the old music.

Come to think of it, the Dark World theme would do really well with the Twilight Realm. Just make it a slower and more slurred tune, though. That way it'll fit the surreal visuals of the Twilight Realm. We can expect this game to have a whole lot of original music to it, but also many classic pieces. I'm definately getting the soundtrack to this game.

I hope that the music reflects the gameplay well, and, erm... i also hope that it´s awesome . In OOT, the music played really well, it´s a masterpiece in terms of giving the feeling of the place and the gameplay. In recent videos (and old ones), i saw (well, heard) that the music was a bit, well... not that good. I hope they improve this. And given the great time they have, meh.

for me the music in zelda minish cap was totaly amazing ...

i loved the picori village theme and hyrule castle theme the most

and also the picori festival theme was very cheerful and very neat too . too bad it was played only in the begining of the game ....

I hope something similar to the market music in OOT is in one of the lively towns in TP. It doesn't have to be necessarily the same, but something similar to it wouldn't hurt (anything lively would be good actually). Then the Gerudo Valley music (I really hope this song somehow makes it to TP). Then the Deku Tree's last words music (I don't know why I like this music...). Then the traditional Great Fairy (or Fairy Fountain) music. And of course Saria's Song.

And this is just Ocarina of Time music I would like to hear in TP...

I hope TP has:

Song of Storms (love that one!)
OoT Forest Temple theme (more upbeat)
Kokiri Forest theme
Saria's Song (orchestrated, perhaps)
Dark World Theme from ALttP (orchestrated as well)
The Classic Zelda Theme! (of course)
More that I can't think of at the moment

The music in TP is going to be orchestrated for those who don't know.

I'm really hoping to hear some of the oldies orchestrated, but at the same time, I'm looking forward to the new stuff.

I've heard a bit from a trailer, and it fit nicely with what was going on on the trailer. I have high hopes for the music in TP!

Not all of it. There is an interview over at GT where Koji Kondo says that only the most important pieces are fully orcherstrated.

Seriously I hope there is only very little music from the previous games. Like one or two selected gems (just like in metroid prime 2). I love the original soundtracks of all zeldas and have bought the ones that are for sale. OoT featured mostly previously unheard music and it's soundtrack is one of the best in the series.

I want to hear:

Lost Woods (OOT)
Lost Woods (ALTTP)
Dark World (ALTTP)
Tal Tal Heights (LA)
Original Ganon Theme (LOZ) (used in the cartoons alot, and was in the graveyard part in MC)
Hyrule Castle (ALTTP)
The King's Theme (WW) (sung when the king made his wish.. also in SEALED HYRULE CASTLE)
Forbidden Forest (WW)

In my opinion, I REALLY want them to include the Lon Lon Ranch theme, maybe remixed a little. But I just love that song .

I'll be naive.
I want to hear the fully orchestrated version of most, if not all OOT and MM songs.
The two games feature many of the previous games musics, most notably Zelda's theme, Hyrule's theme, etc.

Hopefully many of these songs from those games will be incorporated for Nostalgia's sake.

and my biggest wish is that they use some of the music from the credits from lttp.. thats a magic piece of music.. but doubt they will use it.

I really, really, REALLY, want to hear the Gerudo Valley Theme. I just love that song.

I personally want to hear Komune/Kotate's song. And song of Storms. And mabey even that moon telescope observation thing in MM.

The game over/ending music from The Legend of Zelda. Frankly I think it should be the main theme of the whole series but all it got was a little easter egg appearance in Majoras Mask.

Then there's some tunes I expect to appear, but wish they would just dissect from the series, those are: The Kakariko Village tune, the indoor theme that's been around since Ocarina and of course the main theme.

The thing about the overworld theme is that you rarely hear it in most 3D Zeldas. In OoT the overworld theme WAS the main theme, yet its so different from what we're use to we don't recognise it. Wind Waker only used it in the intro, Majora's Mask is exceptional because its the overworld theme only remixed.

I want the main theme in TP to be the overworld theme.

I litsened to the overworld theme and its awsome, but I'd like to hear:
Gerudo Valley
Lost woods
Twinrova's theme
Spirit temple/ Stone tower temple or something similar

Well, they will also come with a ****load of new and maybe even better tunes, so...

Oh, I so agree with you on the indoor theme. It is an annoying song and it has been way over used. Kakariko doesn't bother me. I don't care whether it is used or not.

You can't drop the main theme, though!

I'm generally mixed when it comes to remixes. Would I love to hear the old songs with better quality and new parts? Of course. But not if it severely limits new pieces.

The Stone Tower Temple from Majora Mask is a pretty underrated song. I consider it, along with the Dark World, the most epic song in Zelda.
