The great fairies

Hi folk, feeling great??
Now as it come closer to the realise of TP. And I Can't wait..

Anyway, As I have played all those Zelda game, as I have. I wonder if there will be a great fairy in TP. I think there is a big chance..
Look at it like this, There aren't any Zelda game, that doesn't have a fairy in it. It almost a mark to Zelda games.. What do you think? If there are. I really wonder how they will look like..
What would you like it should look like?

I think it will be cool with a little combination of some that allready have been before. but still having new details.

It's Zelda. Almost every Zelda game has a great fairy. Ofcourse they'll have them.

Of course. Nearly every Zelda game has had Great Fairies.

I just hope the Great Fairies don't end up like graphically enhanced versions of the ones from Ocarina of Time. I swear, the OoT/MM Great Fairies looked like... well, I don't wanna say what they're called (for the sake of this being a public board), but they are women who perform favors. what kind of favors, I will leave to your own imagination (again for the sake of being on a public message board). Ugly ones, at that.

I liked the ones in Wind Waker, they just looked cool. But i hope they have a more human/elvish look to the Great Fairies in Twilight Princess, without making them look... dirty.

There's always been great faries and there always will be. I can't wait to see how beautifully rendered they are in this game.

TWW Great Fairies were kind of creepy to me. I hope if there is Great Fairies in TP, they look like crosses between the OoT/MM and TMC Great Fairies. The beauty of the Great Fairies in OoT/MM was kinda neat. They didn't look much like fairies though. If they had the wings and bodies of the Great Fairies from TMC and a different hairstyle, then they'd look cool. I can imagine what they'd look like then.

I never liked the OOT/MM great fairies, they looked like hookers. WW's great fairies was cool though, but if i have to choose fairy design i have to say Minish Cap. I would like to see 3D versions of them.

I hope the great fairies look like more advanced ones of TWW. Because I didn't like how they designed the great fairies in OOT or MM.

Well, I'm sure that there's going to be a Great Fairy of some sort in Twilight Princess. I'm not sure what kind they'll use. I'm sure some of us here would like to see the OoT/MM Great Fairy more realistically, but I doubt Nintendo would do that. I'd actually prefer one that looked more like the ones from A Link to the Past, but they'll probably end up being like the ones from The Wind Waker.

I prefer the MC fairies because they're G-rated and don't have four arms. The OOT/MM fairies are NOT G-rated and are NOT visually appealing. Yet, when you wear the Great fairy mask around on MM, a lot of guys seem to think it's hot.

My guess is that the game developers will use a new design for the great fairies in TP.

Probably so, in Twilight Princess style though, so she'll probably look different.

Yes. I actually expect a great big bueatiful fairy. And add on the great graphics. You got a great Zelda game once again.... ( it was going to be great anyways )

they freaked me out... Like almost no clothes...and really disturbing...

Of course like almost every game has a different style.. I can't wait to see the new one. It'll prolly be one like the Oot/MM games. Scary. I prefer TWW's great fairy

I wouldn't be surprised if there is a great fairy in TP. I just hope they don't look like the WW styled great fairies. They seem more suited for cel-shaded graphics rather then more realistic looking graphics. I wouldn't mind seeing a re-appearance of the MC great fairies on TP. Or maybe go with the cross of OOT great fairies with MC ones...

Anyways, there's no reason why a great fairy shouldn't appear in TP. The game only takes place a few decades after OOT, so maybe we'll see a re-appearance of the OOT great fairies, who knows? It's overall a minor detail I'm not too concerned about.

I hope they make news ones, new design and everything. MC fairies would be good too.

Actually, it's some kind of weed that they're clothed in. Looks like seaweed.

I think that we will be seeing the Great Fairies return in TP. I actually believe the weird shiny goat/god/spirit/thing/whatever to be a Great Fairy, effected by the Twilight. I do hope that the normal ones will look better than OoT/MM. Their outfit seems rather, err, suggestive, especially for a Zelda game. *shivers* I hope they look more like the classic Great Fairies, or like in MC. That would be cool.

They will have great fairies. But I hope that Nintendo doesn't use those ugly MM and OoT fairies. Ugh, they are almost as bad as Tingle, in my opinion. But, then again, the Wii will have better graphics, and they'll be able to make the fairies look better.

Their will be great fairies, I am hoping the fat fairy from the dark world in ALttP will make a come back.
