New Tingle RPG info

For those who like the Tingle RPG, (I do, since the last few screenshots got released), there's some new info. How new it is, I dont know, but I didnt knew it or heard anyone else about it here on the forum, so I guess its pretty new. And if its not, there must be lots of you who dont know eather, so I just want to share it with those. And for those who did know already; it are some very intresting points to discuss about, so..
Here's the info I found on Wikipedia:

The game starts from the time when Tingle was just an average middle-aged man. While living out the dull days of the main character's life, he receives a divine message stating to visit "The Spring". In doing so and visiting the spring, he is confronted by a person who names himself Rupee-ji (Old Man Rupee). The main character learns that if he saves rupees (money) and throws them into the spring, he will be taken to the dream paradise of "Rupee Land". After agreeing to the task, he changes into "Tingle" through Magic. Where Rupees are everything, and if you run out, you must shoulder the fate of also running out of life.

The game is all about keeping the balance of your income and expenses. Income: From the countless boring days Tingle's skills will appear! Winning battles, selling various trade goods from/to shop owners, helping people in need of aid, and creating maps are all the skills to master to make your wallet fat.

Expenses: With your life on the line when losing money, your expenses are as crucial as your income. But you will also suffer if you become selfish and don't use some of of your money, and to continue you must use your money in buying products to sell, ingredients for your kitchen etc.

When Tingle throws enough Rupees into "the Spring", a tower will emerge from its depth.
Since Tingle doesn't have a good arm in fighting, he will need to bribe bodyguards for battles.
Like when you are attacked by rats in The Wind Waker, taking damage will cause you to lose Rupees.
Because of a 'curse' that comes with his Tingle appearance, Tingle will die when he runs out of Rupees.
Among the characters you will meet, there are: Rupeeji (Old Man Rupee), the purple blond-haired fairy Pingle, who resides in a monitor in Tingle's house (which resembles the Nintendo DS) and his own dog (Dongle). An early screenshot shows Tingle using the Tingle Bomb seen in The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker.

This is pretty old info. (at least to me) I've read this at the wikipedia quite a while ago.

I think it's pretty cool how you have to hire people to help you in battle. The fact that you need to feed tingle and sell stuff is pretty cool too. It will be quite a challange making an income thats able to feed you and buy more goods. I'm quite interested about the mapmaking part though. Will you actually get to draw the maps or will they automaticly get made?

I didnt know this...but it seems kinda dumb to make a tingle game...but maybe its just me...

Tingle has a cult following (did I phrase that right?) in Japan. Nintendo is still trying to decide whether they should release it here in North America, especially considering his low fandom. I'd buy it if it was released here, or, exclusively in kana (wiki it, those blocks are kana) even if it wasn't really a Legend of Zelda game. Although, there is hardly any mention of Zelda in MM & LA.

Heck, I'd buy the game just for that.

I wonder if the player actually has to have mapmaking skills. It'd be great if you got more or less rupees for the map depending on how well it was drawn.

Well, it looks like it could make an interesting game, but not my type of interesting game. Especially when I'm not even motivated to beat it (nooo don't make tingle happy! *kills over and over*).

I think it would be classified as a Zelda game.

Maybe... The Legend of Zelda: Tinge's day out. Or TLoZ: Fairy tale. < That would definetatly be a good name.


Anyway, why not make a Tingle RPG. I've never ever found LOZ games boring. They are always good somehow. (Just the content).

And why wouldn't it be called LOZ: Tingle RPG? If I was head of Nintendo thats what I would do. It has LOZ content and fans would be dissapointed if it wasnt.

It's called Fresh Tingle's Rose Coloured Rupee Land.

The if you translate Tingle's japanese name, it is Tinkle. Thus, Fresh Tinkle's Rose Coloured Rupee Land.

There's no official English title.

Sooooo...Is the game about the Tingle from Termina or a brand New Tingle?
It would be awesome if the game was set in Termina

I might get it if it does come out in America, but I don't know, especially since there is no set release date for the US.

Is there something like different Tingle's then? I thought tWW's one and the MM's one were the same. But if there are different Tingles, I think (and hope) it would be the MM's one

I read this article in nintendo power.... I wish the game could come to america. I'm glad nintendopower put up a survey for it to see if the people want the game to come to the states.. it's currently not up yet but later you can vote here http://www.nintendo.com/tinglesurvey

I'll buy it if it comes to north America. It sounds kind of lame but I wanna buy as many Zelda games as possible.

It sounds like a bit of a weird title... I dunno if I'm drawn in just yet. I'd rather just meet Tingle as a ridiculous character in a Zelda game than play as him, I think. There's no one who's more fun to hate.

So if Tingle has his appearance changed, then what really is he?

I think that the Tingle RPG would be lame without some types of tie in's with the zelda series. Maybe if Tingle ended up in jail and link saved him...
