Twilight princess, is not for gamecube!

Over a couple of days I made an analysis about TP,
Twilight princess is no longer going to be released pon the gamecube, but on the Wii,
What evidence do I have to support my theory you ask?

Well, evidence Number 1
The nintendo gamecube hasnt realeased a new game in over 1 year,

Evidence number 2
Nintendo now seem to be spending more time on the rev version... But why would they realease 2 versions of TP?

Evidence number 3
Nintendo have delayed TP many times, the more they delay, the more better it gets, as people say, but i have a hunch they have given up on the GC version, and are now trying to convert GC codes in the Wii codes

Tell me what you think, is this evidence logical? or have you any more evidence?

Re: Twilight princess, is not for gamecube!

Ninty were originally developing TP for the GC. To let down all those Zelda fans who have money in their pockets for a GC TP will create an uproar, and Ninty will be hated for a long while by those people who want a GC version (that includes me).

This will not lead to greater profits, in the end.

Nintendo's pretty consumer-savvy.

O rly? Not a single one?

Basically, what LionHearted said is true. People with not enough moneys to buy a Wii get the GC vesion, everyone else gets the Wii version. Nintendo gets more moneys, and makes more games. Everybody's happy. Cutting off the Gamecube market would be a bad idea.

No, ofcourse it hasn't, but does it seem reasonable for Ninty to release TP last year? No, because then they couldn't release it on Wii. Well they could, but it would be better to just release at the time Wii comes out.

Maybe they spend more time on the Wii-version because the GC-version is finished? Why releasing 2 TP's? Money.

Just as I said to evidence number 1, they want it to release at the same date as Wii.

Re: Twilight princess, is not for gamecube!

Why would they announce two versions of the game so close to it's release?

By releasing two they not only sell more Wiis but they also sell more games because of all the Gamecubes that are already out there. They also eliminate a huge stink that would be created by snubbing the Cube owners.

What do you call Odama, then? Chibi-Robo? Both of them released in 2006.

1st: Simply because the game is practically done. All they're doing is adapting (READ: Porting over) the game for Wii's controls.

2nd: They promised a GC version would be released, and if they don't do it, they will be under a lot of fire.

3rd: By releasing it on GC, they secure more moneys both from the guys who don't or can't get a Wii just now and those who get a Wii at launch.

True, it gets better as time goes to develop it. But it seems you underestimate the power of the GC. Play some graphic-intensive games on GC like Resident Evil 4 to understand how much can it handle. TP by no means has outgrown the GC's power limitations. If they add some graphical touch-ups on the Wii version, it doesn't mean the GC version was downgraded, it means the Wii version was upgraded.

.......did you just come back from hibernation? because from july 17 2005 to july 17 2006, im pretty sure near a hundred or so GC games were released.....and theyre still some coming..

to name a few: Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance, DDR: Mario Mix, Super Mario Strikers, Super Mario Baseball, Mario Party 7, Odama, Harvest Moon: Magical Melody, Disney/Pixar Cars, and more....but there's so many in the last year, that it'd be inhuman to list em all...

and if you're talking about a zelda game, its called the whole zelda team was on development for twilight princess

plus, we're expecting two more, for sure, that I know of and am looking forward too: Baten Kaitos Origins and Super Paper Mario....so don't go off saying the GC is done...TP is the last for the cube.

....................are you brain damaged? like, ok, im coming off with insults and vulgar, but its annoying when some people haven't even CHECKED! Pick up a magazine or something...Its called Wii, first of all, and its going onto Wii for Two reasons:

1) The Gamecube's last awesome game WILL BE the Wii's FIRST!
2) more cash, buddy....everyone loves zelda, and two versions, no matter what teh slightest difference is, zelda fans will purchase both

Check here, and you'll learn: Here
There are so many websites that already CLARIFY that TP will be on GC and Wii, just reading under all the Google options can tell you.

And who are you to say that you're hunches are correct? As stated above, its on GC....and no, they didn't give up on the GC......

Grow up and look around first before you make pointless threads that try to jsutify non-existent information. Everything you're fighting against has been confirmed for the opposite....smarten up and read.

You just exposed your stupidity to the world, so CONGRATULATIONS!

Re: Twilight princess, is not for gamecube!

You all are being so mean to him.. it was just an idea he had, and even though it doesn't seem to be very likely, he felt it possible that maybe it wouldn't be released for GCN.

I believe you've all responded to his original point.
