Unexpected plot twists you'd like to see in a Zelda game

So, yeah... What the title says. Hah. :embrsd: For some reason, I have a strong wish to see a Zelda game in which there is a plot twist that Zelda is evil/fighting against Link somehow. Perhaps corrupted by the triforce of wisdom. Man... lots of wisdom, and evil intentions *shudders* I have no idea why. I just think it would be fun to see, if the final boss was... Zelda.

I'm not sure why she'd go against Link though. She'd have to think he was harmful to Hyrule, I think. Hm.

Anyway, what would you like to see?

Just kidding. Actually, it's a pretty neat idea, having Zelda evil.

Or maybe be fighting alongside Ganondorf and not knowing who he is until the end.

They did something like that in Metal Gear Solid. I would like to see Tingle Be evil and Link having to kill him.

Interesting plot twist... in OoT you find that going to all the temples and collecting the medalions did nothing but strengthen Ganondorf.

Hahah, nothing wrong with wisdom. I'm a big fan, myself. (No, seriously, if I ever get around to doing the clan test I hope I'll be in Nayru.)

Ooh, I like the idea of Zelda becoming an ally of Ganondorf, not knowing his true nature. It would fit in with Zelda's general MO: Knowing the Hyrule is in danger, but still getting pwned on some level. Hmmm...

That is wierd, but along those lines, how about Zelda being a boy?

A plot twist?? Hmmm, how about the world that Link is in turns out to be an illusion? It would run along the same lines as the Matrix, except without the energy sucking machines and the spaceships.

Something that would be cool would be if Link got a sidekick. He was rather mysterious and keeps dissapearing at points. Like he was hooded, looks weird, something along those lines. At the end of the game it turns out to be...Ganon whose plan went terribly wrong. How about that for a plot twist? And so no one suspects a thing, Ganon doubles himself.

No, not at all. Link could almost get killed by his side-kick alot in the game, but he uses his cunning to escape. When link finally confronts his side-kick, he could pass it of as a accident.

I know we could call the place "Koholint Island"! And Link could have to awaken a mysterious creature called "The Windfish". But the only way to do it is by collecting "The Instruments Of The Sirens" I think we have something here.
