Question old Zelda remakes for the Wii/DS

I think they should take the old zelda games and make them alot cooler graphic and control wise? just think if they made LoZ or AoL with say MC like graphics. i think that would be really cool. or they could do MM and OoT with improved graphics. just make them alot less blocky then they are now. i dunno. what do you guys think? they could also alter the game a little by adding little things like a Map in LoZ and AoL.

I think that would be cool. Did you know that many people originally guessed that TP was going to be a next-gen remake of LoZ?

Re: old Zelda remakes for the Wii/DS

First of all this should belong in the future zelda section and second, what is with people and remakes? Just because that one year (I think 2003) they came out with the classic series, MQ and the CE doesn't mean they will do it often. Who really cares at this point.

I’ll have to disagree with you, as time goes on; I’ve learned that you should keep to the past things that belongs to it. I see no reason for Nintendo to remake any of the past chapters of the series. In my humble opinion that’ll be waste of time, time they could invest, creating new things, instead of remaking “better” versions of the old one, whish I think they are great just the way they are.

Besides people, what with you and graphics? Graphics isn’t everything in a videogame. On the opposite I’ve seen people enjoying more games that have a great gameplay instead of those that have edge graphics, for ex. The Sims. Before, people really used to enjoy playing games, when there was not graphics, but no a days, the only thing people look for a game is the one that has the best graphics.

Many threads like these have been made in the past and I'm sure most of them have been locked. I'm sure you must have seen ATLEAST ONE of those threads. This thread does not have an original idea to it and therefore I doubt many people will contribute to this topic. However... Gameplay > Graphics. Yes It would be good if they remade it with better graphics. But Nintendo doesn't have the time. They are coming up with great storylines and new Zelda games. I'd rather that than an old story with new graphics.

Yeah it is. You are talking about what they should come out with, in the future. Therefore you are wrong. Future zelda is mostly based off of speculations and what you would like to see in the future.

i think they should remake all previous zelda games with the best 3d tech from the Wii. but a while after TP so it doesnt steal TP's thunder and give me time to save up money!

Re: old Zelda remakes for the Wii/DS

I'd definately love to see an improved Zelda game. Especially like OoT and LoZ and perhaps ALttP. Ooh, if they give OoT realistic graphics like TP! And maybe add more to it like the horseback fighting system that they originally wanted in OoT, or more subquests, more NPCs, MUCH larger Hyrule Field, new weapons/items, more enemies, ect.

Personally, I like the idea.

Re: old Zelda remakes for the Wii/DS

They should definately remake MM for the DS. And maybe OoT. But definately MM (What? It's my favorite game! (as you could probably tell by my avvy and sig))

Re: old Zelda remakes for the Wii/DS

Old games belond in the past and new games belong in the now. I don't mean that no one should play the old games it's just that Nintendo needent concern themselves with trying to remake past games.
