Patching up Holes

I am not sure if this has already been said or not, but is it possible that TP tells the story of how Hyrule was flooded? Link could be the same Link as from OoT, and is going to kill Ganon who has been released again and is covering Hyrule in the Twilight Realm. Then, Ganon is killed, Link goes away,and all is good until the mastermind is released again, causing Wind Waker. Or maybe, Link is killed by Ganon in TP? Hmmmm.....

Well, this Link is not OOT Link. It was already confirmed a long time ago. And yes, TP will most likely mention the flooding of Hyrule in some sort of way. And Ganon cannot die in TP. Because WW shows that he never died. WW mentions the seal of the gods. Which is either the seal of the Seven Sages in OOT or some other new seal that may be shown in TP. I don't know. But he was only sealed, not killed.

I think tWW does a fine enough job of telling us how hyrule was flooded, the problem is that tWW references both MM and adult ending OoT, which creates a paradox.

It never said the he only came out once.

you think thats negative you should see some timeline threads . back on topic, yes it's a different link, but i agree with The Hero of Time, that he couldve came out more than once. which is what might happen in TP. and we dont know exactly how long ganon was in control. we know it was centuries since Hyrule was flooded(tWW) but we dont know how long after ganon broke the seal. so he coudve ruled for a long time THEN it was flooded.

Yeah, thats true. We know Ganon had taken control of Hyrule Castle, which explains why that there were monsters patroling the castle in WW. Maybe the Link in TP is on a mission from the gods to clear up the land of the Twilight Realm so it can be flooded. And CJB, nice sig.

Yeah, I don't remembering mentioning that Ganon could not appear in TP... I already know he does (it was confirmed). What I said was that he can't die in TP. I defiantly believe he'll show up in TP one way or another though.

yeah most likely hes sealed. if i went into detail enough you could say he might be sealed in death mountain. cause of the image in WW....crap cant find the pic. its the intro to WW when it shows Ganon coming back, he looks like hes crawling out of Death Mt.

That makes sense. Seeing as how it looks like he's coming out of the mountain range.

Yeah, but he could also be coming from any mountain range around Hyrule.

it just looks like hes coming from the direction of where death mountain was in OoT. and thats the game it talks about in the intro. it shows the castle and in OoT death mountain is to the right of the castle while your facing it. Hey! maybe thats another reason why there are hardly any gorons in WW.

You make a good point. This is also another reason why the Ritos exsist. The remaning Gorons "combined" with the Zoras.

My thoughts exactly! I really believe that Twilight Princess will end with Link disappearing, and Ganon returning to reek havoc. The gods then flood the world, and alas, we have WindWaker! Good job, jokerboy!

That's assuming the final timeline shakes out that way, though...at the moment, we're still getting conflicting signals from Nintendo on whether The Wind Waker takes place after Twilight Princess, or vice versa.

Either way, the answers should be interesting.
