However, I am sure there is a very logical explanation to your theory. Please explain it, because I want to see your opinion.

Maybe in future Zeldas, you will be able to do what you do with RPGs? Ultimately, making certain choices in what you say will alter the flow of events. That would certainly be an adaptable change.
Okay, so you know how Tetra, Link, and the pirates set out to find a new land? Well, they found a new land, and named it Hyrule in honor of the great land that their ancestors lived in. This is the Hyrule that FSA, ALttP, and all the other Zelda games around that point take place. (I used FSA and ALttP as examples because their Hyrules are almost identical.)

And, no, future Zelda's should not have different endings. Zelda doesn't work that way. It's a legend being told during the game, but you are able to play the role of the hero and go through his adventure. Zelda isn't an RPG in that sense, so it wouldn't be a good thing to change it like that.

Well, I don't mean things as drastic as different endings. I do mean, however, things such as, for example, if you ever played Final Fantasy VII, and you didn't obtain the Huge Materia from the rocket, you could not obtain Bahamut Zero. Or, if you don't stop the train, you can't get the Ultima materia.

So, let's say that Link has an option of killing this moblin or sparing him. If he spares him, he could make future appearances or even be involved in sidequests later in the game.
