If I remember correctly, it was stated by Reggie that "I am happy to say that we have the Wolf moving around quite naturally andWolf Link will be in prime playable form at E3".

Yest E3 comes...and no Wolf Link.... anyone know whats going on?

Re: Wolf Link absent from E3 demos?.....

Ya, I noticed that too. I THINK there's still some stuff to be seen, but I don't know. I haven't seen any of those interviews/roundtables that they usually have, but then again, it could be pretty much over.
There's a bunch of people that have played the demo by now. The footage should surface soon enough.
Hey, if anyone has it, please post it!

Yes, I know. I have absolutely no idea where the footage went. It's surprising, really. Where'd the roundtables go? The discussions? The footage that people cheaply tape? We should've gotten TONS of info by now. It's... upsetting.

Maybe it's just the presentation part and the real TP demo booth thing won't be until later, who knows?

Yes, no Wolf Link demo is odd, we've been guaranteed that it would happen.

Re: Wolf Link absent from E3 demos?.....

You know what, I'm really happy that no wolf link demo was shown, the whole clincher for TP is awesome traditionalgameplay (even withought the Wii) and wolf link, I would really like feral link to be a total surpise, I don't want any information on how to control him, how he works, why link turns into a wolf, thats the biggest part of TP and I firmly beleive that it should remain a surprise for us fans.

Re: Wolf Link absent from E3 demos?.....

I guess they wanted the fans to see Link's adult form at E3 first, even though the first part, equivilent to kid Link, wasn't shown and they said they would show it.

But the thing is... they showed a basic part of a dungeon with the guy playing as kid link, either you play a bit of adult link first then he gets transformed, or, the thing they showed in the demonstration was a stripped down, as they said, simple version of a much later dungeon (considering he uses the bow and the boots) which they used just for the demonstration and for the demo they allowed people to play later. Or maybe their isn't one at all, it's hard to tell.

kid and adult Link? What the hell are you talking about... this isn't OoT, there's just adult link.

I guess they still haven't got the controls right, which makes me worry a bit.

Re: Wolf Link absent from E3 demos?.....

Apologies, I meant the fact they used the wolf as the transition for TP like how in other games they use the transition between kid and adult link because the games don't let you start with the most powerful form, you have to build up first.

I was comparing it to OOT.

I guess that's more of a reason why the wolf form should still be in the game, I don't see them getting rid of that transition in TP.

Ah... the ever-frustrating, yet completely satisfying final product, team of EA and SM...

I completely agree with v-god on this. They've given us parched fans a smorgasbord to feast our eyes on with all of these Wii videos and screens. Wolf link is obviously a very strong point to the plot, and they're probably going to milk the hype around it for all it's worth.

I did see wolf Link in a trailer, though. It was only about a second, but it was very intriguing from what I could gather. Midna was riding on wolf Link's back in a non-twilight infested area at what seemed to be sunset.

Edit: Oh, I almost forgot! There's that whole thing with wolf Link disintegrating into some crazy black madness and going off somewhere.

Hey, notice how the twilight realm looks different in the trailer? When you see the first twilight enemy die, the grass under him is green, and the flying monster is against a yellow sky? Same with the quick shot of Minda riding Link through the wooded area. I like how the realm looks now!

Re: Wolf Link absent from E3 demos?.....

Yeah they are pretty slow with designing the game but the game will mostly be a success for its twilight realm, graphics, and gameplay but this is just a theory it should be out soon and we'll all be busy playing the game and might not even be active here.
