Plain and simple: no! Lord, no. Zelda never has a truly happy ending. It's always bittersweet, save for in AoL, and possibly LoZ. That's part of what gives the fantasy its slightly dark appeal. Link doesn't get the girl, and it's unrealistic on so many levels for that to happen. 1) Link is not a noble, 2) he has no experience in governing a kingdom, and 3) most royal marriages are prearranged anyway.

Seriously, he may not be a noble but he may as well be. Saving the whole kingdom from Ganondorf and other Evil, how many nobles can say that? Also in
OoT Link becomes a Sworn Brother of the Goron Sage(cant remember his name) Is liked by the Zora's.
Ok so he doesnt have experience in governing a kingdom... but he can learn cant he? after all everyone gots to learn it somehow.
as for the Royal Marriages being prearranged, we dont really know how its done in Hyrule it never really mentions it. But seriously, who would you want marrying your daughter? A noble who hasnt done much, a rich man who is basicly greedy, or a man who can easlily defend her and will go and personally rescue her. the other 2 guys would probably higher a man like Link. Also. So to me Link would be the best choice to have my daughter marry. Sure he doesnt come from Royalty, but he is treated as a legend and hero.
But I really dont think they will ever get married, it is possible that they could get in a relationship but never get married. I also would like to see them get into a relationship other then being friends.
