Hey, I have a good question, do you think Link will play an instrument in Twilight Princess?

Well I know in this one clip I watched he played some sort of flute and it called a bird to him. I dont think that was the main instrument though. But who knows I have been wrong before.

That was a piece of grass. He could get an instrument later on.

He blows into different plants, like horse grass and hawk weed, to summon animals, he may get an intrument based on those plants though.

I dunno, I have always wondered if he would have one. If he did get an instrument, the songs would be awesome.

From what I know, the grass reed seems to be the "instrument" of the game. There also seem to be various kinds of reeds for different purposes, such as calling your horse, falcon, other purposes which haven't been revealed, and those which I can't recall at this present time.

I know, (you couldn't tell I was using it!?) I was really hoping he would play an instrument, it's just one of those timeless aspects of Zelda that make it what it is. I'm glad to know that there is a good chance of him having one though

I completly agree with you TriforceWielder, in my opinion zelda needs some sort of instrument
for the sake of that "zelda feel" if you know what I meen. I would be dissapointed a little if there weren't any instruments in TP

Music just seems to play a big role in Zelda games. I have always loved Zelda songs, some of my favorites being the "Prelude of Light" and "Saria's song" from OOT, and others , like "The Ballad of the Wind Fish" from Link's Awakening, or the "New Wave Bossa Nova" from Majora's Mask.

Yeah, those songs are awesome (I actually figured out how to play saria's song on the piano on my own XD), Go Koji!

Besides that I've always liked those magical moments when you learned a song. Moments like these defined Zelda for me, without them TP will be a little less "Zelda-ish".

Zelda-ish? haha I'm going to use that word today! they are really great songs, you can warp with them and everything! Who doesn't want that? And after you play them, all of the sparkles and stuff, they are really great. Supposedly, TP is going to have orchestrated music, could you imagine the songs then? It's going to be awesome! I can't wait.

I was somehow under the impression that Link would have like a mini-harp.
Anything related to this in TP that may have got me thinking this?

Grass isn't an instrument, he doesn't carry it with him either. But the demo wasn't a finished product so the grass could be a replacement for an instrument that was still under development. At least that's what I hope =)

How about giving Link a..... violin? No? Tap dance shoes (boots) maybe?

I kinda think the Ocarina would still be a good instrument to use. It would show that He's still the same-old Link we all know and love. And it would bring back a little nostalgia too.

One of the things that makes Zelda so great is the nostalgia you get when playing a new Zelda-game. I really hope link gets an ocarina, it would be awesome to learn new songs.

Do you also think Zelda (or Sheik) will be there to teach you new ones? I don't really think that after OOT, there will be much use for Sheik...because, I mean, didn't Zelda turn into Sheik to hide from Ganondorf? He would already know He was Zelda!!
