How will YOU play Twilight Princess?

There was a thread a while back on "What's the first thing you're going to do in TP?" Well, I bet I have a different gaming style from a lot of people, and I was wondering how everyone else is going to play through TP the first time.

The first game in inarguably the most wondrous and memorable, and so i always play it like I'm new to the universe. I explore, test my boundaries, talk to people and have fun. i follow the storyline without over thinking it, happy to be surprised. I try not to get help online. I let the experience be organic.

But there are other ways. Some want their first game to be a speed run. Some want 100 percent completion the first time around. Others stick strictly to the storyline, completing no other unnecessary side-quests until Ganon is vanquished: after all, if the world is in peril, Link probably wouldn't be wasting time cutting up chickens.

OK, so my question is this: How will You play it? Speed run, purist, organic. Why?

Well I'm really hoping it will be like OoT a game which you can easily play over again.
Not being like tWW where its just so damn boring its just a pain to play again.

But for my first time round, I'm going to be looking for all the little things. And of course completing the game at the same time.

Well, I'll do what I normally do in Zelda games.

A) Talk to everybody shorter than me, taller than me, or who looks weird (because of course people who are the same height as you and who look normal are not remotely important).
B) Look for anything that's breakable and break it.
C) Attack all animals in sight.
D) Buy all new items and equipment in each town.
E) Screw around with basic items.
F) Beat game.

Heh. I prefer to go about it as if it's the real world--following any rules and morals I myself would adhere to while having fun with anything I can hit with my sword. I'll talk to anybody who looks interesting, and try to gather as much money and Heart Pieces along the way to make adventuring easier.

Explore every inch of the place and talk to all the people, do all the stuff, yeah. I want to take tp nice and slow in order to soak it all in like othr games. The night before it comes out I'll be beating ganondorf in windwaker one more time just for practice. For tp I have been practicing since e3 04. I want to be good and ready for anything, andy puzzle. I'm going to have fun!

I would explore every little bit and talk to everyone for fun.

Maybe there will be an unlocked feature if you finish. Like in tWW.

Well, I will sit on my bed, have the controler in my hand, and I would start playing.

I, too, would like there to be a unlock feature, maybe extra dungeons?

Anyway, I will play it in awe because it will kick a$$, and I pray that it won't be boring(but it won't!).

I will worship my gamcube for about fifteen mintes before playing... don't want it to be angry at me when I play, of course.

Then I will drool as I play every unbelievable second...

Of course, I will still curse Nintendo for not bringing it out sooner...

Finish the game as quick as possible, probabling missing out on alot of stuff.

I'm gonna take my time with the game, definitely. I'm surely expecting to see improved difficulty in enemies (not so in WW), and improved enjoyment and difficulty in dungeons (not so in OoT), so I expect to actually have a challenge with this game. I think I'll go through just the main story mode first, and after I beat the game for the first time, I'll go for 100% completion on that first file.

I'll probably talk to every person I find. Then hope I don't dred being in the dungeons, because for some reason I hated being in the dungeons in OoT. I am hoping the difficulty level isn't too hard in this game, WW was perfect for me in terms of difficulty. If a game is too challenging I won't have the desire to play it as much as I would if it was a little easier. Once I finish the game I will do what I always do after I beat a game, call my father and tell him about it. Then I will probably leave the game sitting on my shelf for a year or so before picking it up again and beating one dungeon before I stop playing it again.

Oh, and Mirren is to Custom Ranks as I am to Avatars. They get changed every few days.

I'd probably take my time to get every single little thing in the whole game. I wouldn't leave a pixel not caught to my eye. I'm going to run through this game very careful to make sure I don't miss anything. At the same time, i'm going to enjoy the scenery and gameplay (along with the amazing music i'm looking forward too!).

So, slow for me.

I'm gonna try my best not to rush through the game, missing all of the good parts because my brother and I always have some sort of 'compatition' to see who can beat the game first. That's the only reson why he bought Minish Cap, and he still hasn't beaten it!

The first weekend after TP comes out, my friend is going to come over and we'll lock ourselves in the basement and play it all weekend on the big TV with the big speakers. Of course, we'll have plenty of junk food to eat too.

Zelda, fatty foods, and a big TV......... hell yes.

Well I'd start off exploring the different places, soaking up the characters and storyline (possibly getting a fanart inspiration along the way). Then I'd actually work on the game while inserting random sidequests throughout the game when I got bored. That's my gameplay in a nutshell.

I'll do what I do with most games, just find my ways to progress rather then stopping for side-quests and such. If the game is too linear, it'll be over far too fast for me of course. After I complete it, I'll probably attempt a few things I didn't do before, but then get bored of doing it, because stuff like that isn't always that fun.

First of all, I will explore every single thing in TP just like I did in Oot when I played it for the first time. The only differents between Oot and TP is that you can explore more things in TP than Oot because there wasn't so much to do in Oot. I will at least hang out in the village for 3 hours or something.

I'll play it and have fun. I always balance sidequests and storyline by playing through the story but also doing any sidequests that I notice. I also screw around a lot in Zelda games, just exploring the landscape and whatnot.

I will actually wait for the revolution to come out before playing it the first time. I am thrilled about the new controller idea, and want to experience my two things I'm anticipating the most at once. There is a good chance I will pass out on the ground.

I will play through, only doing side-quests which intrest me (which will probably be alot), then if it's possible do a figurine side-quest. I mean these graphics are so good and we may not be able to appreciate them will facing a hulking beast. but then it's not likely they'll put this feature in.
Oh well, more reason to cherish the game the first time round.

Yeah I agree, that will be what I will do. I also want to know which animals will attack you when they get hit by your sword
