Re: Buying Twilight Princess

Well, the pre-order is for $50 I believe, and I have never seen a new gamecube game being sold for over $50 (at least at most retailers) so probably not.

EDIT: *slaps forehead* Damn, you're from Venzuala, and I'm talking about American dollars.

Anyway, the pre-order price seems consistent with most in-store retailer prices, so probably so. I've never pre-ordered a game, yet I intend to do so with TP.

Re: Buying Twilight Princess

I don't think so, I bought it for 59,99 Euro's back in May 2004. That is the same price as it gets in the stores.

Re: Buying Twilight Princess

For pre-ordering, there's usually a minimum amount to pay to reserve a copy of the game or system or whatever that you're pre-ordering. For console games, such as the new Zelda, would usually have a ten or fifteen dollar minimum, and paying at least that will earn you a copy set aside specifically for you. But if you so choose, you can also pay for it in full right then and there. That's what usually do when ordering games in advance. For example, back in June, when i preordered the new Zelda, i payed it off completely the day i ordered it. This is especially easy for me since i won't have to worry about paying off anything more once the game comes *finally* comes out. I can just walk into the gamestop, pick up my reservation, and go.

And as a future reference, Handheld games usually have a 5 or ten dollar minimum for ordering, handheld systems are about 25 minimum, and home consoles are usually a 50 dollar minimum for preorder. And now you know.

You mean 5 dollar exra, I just have to pay shipping costs, wich is around 3 euros 50, and I have to pay the normal price, nothing more.

In Europe they sell for about €60 which is a little over US$70.

If a pre-order price is lower then the price of the actual game, then you'll be expected to pay the remaining if not the full price of the game when you go to pick it up.

Pre-orders/Pre-Books are about €5 or nothing from what I've seen, and I think that's deducted from the actual price.

I pre-ordered mine from GAME in the UK, and I didn't have to pay anything towards it, they said that "there's no obligation to buy it", therefore you can easily change your mind when it's released, which I obviously won't do.
