Re: Has Nintendo's silence regarding Twilight Princess caused you psychological damage?

Nintendo's silence pisses me off first of all. I honestly get mad just thinking about it and I am now developing a strong hate for Nintendo. Racial slurs towards Aonuma and Miyamoto are always at the tip of my toung. Not only that, but I have been on the computer more than I've ever been in my life. I waste hours on the computer, searching for new TP info, but just can't find any.

Re: Has Nintendo's silence regarding Twilight Princess caused you psychological damage?

That was Thaizilian everybody. Blowing things out of proportion ever since December of 2005.

This game should come out before E3 IMO. After that, I pretty much expect the gaming world to be thrown into nex-gen craziness, taking even MORE of the spotlight off of the GCN. Or, they could wait to release it later and ad it along-side for the REVO as the selling point of it's backwards compatibility. But I feel that they don't need to release it in q3 or q4 in order to do that.

Obviously, they only delayed it to save steam for this 06 campaign. Yes, they did say they wanted to expand on the game, but be realistic. It's not like we'll ever know what they did to exapnd it.

Re: Has Nintendo's silence regarding Twilight Princess caused you psychological damage?

I think that if someone actually got psychological damage from the delay and no talk of TP...then I think that person my have issuses our problems (i'm trying to say that in the nicest way). There are other games out there then TP. Why not buy a new Zelda game or any other game that you don't have yet and play that. I just bought like 4 new Zelda games, now my mind is pre-occupied trying to beat my new Zelda games. Or you could prehaps re-play WW or OOT to help you notice any things that explain some questions from those games.

Or maby prehaps rent a game or something. I could go on...There is more to life then just, "Twilight Princess". Sure it's a going to be a good game, and you might be eagrely waiting, I myself am waiting, but to be "comsummed" by it, isn't healthy. If you are a person that is cought up in TP so much it some gives you "psychological damage", just remember there is more too life then TP. Like I said, try buying/playing some other diffrent Zelda games to occupy the time. I myself am eagrly waiting, but you must have patience. TP is just around the corner .

Re: Has Nintendo's silence regarding Twilight Princess caused you psychological damage?

Psychological damage right now? NO...definitley not, but when Feburary 10th comes..and if Reggie has not mentioned anything new or a release date at the D.I.C.E convention...then yes..i will be severly pissed...but i wont suffer from psychological damage. The only way i might get a little damage is if Twilight Princess is delayed until after June of '06.

Re: Has Nintendo's silence regarding Twilight Princess caused you psychological damage?

I'm sure I won't be a danger to myself or others.

On a serious note, Twilight Princess is rarely on my mind, to be honest. And accordingly, I only see it when I jump into a conversation about it. My mind dosen't really think of it by will. Not that I am not expecting the game at all, but eh, I guess I'm occupied with other things. I'm sure it will be awesome. The delays are a bit annoying, but eh, overall not a huge issue in my life's affairs. I'll live, I'm sure.

Dude seriously, Go get a life.

There is plenty of other games to play while TP is being made.

Its not the end of the world, and if your depressed that Nintendo has not released anything you should seek help or something X_X
My thoughts exactly, is kinda really sad. I have a Zelda poster in my room, but I'm not that crazy. There are other games, look into them and you'll be fine. Or take V99's advice and get a life.

Yeah, I probably should have realized that a lot wouldn't catch it. But yes, it was funny--people actually believing that I might be going crazy over Twilight Princess.

I changed the original post to make my exaggeration even more obvious. Which is no fun, of course, but oh well.
AHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Anywho.

I forgot about D.I.C.E.

Many suspect him to just do his usual baseless trash talking and rant about the DS and nintendogs for what....the 200th time now? But then, there's the question as to why nintendo would attend D.I.C.E......and why Reggie would give a speech at such a low profile expo show. Makes you think.

Next time, actually read the rest of the thread before launching a stupid insult at me. Gosh, some of you don't even get it after I've explicity told you I'm exaggerating. Sheesh.

This thread is to vent about the delay. Not to insult anyone. Especially me, because it pisses me off.

And Tigerboi, I share your suspicions about D.I.C.E. Seeing as though it is a very low-profile event (I'd never even heard of it before a week ago) and NoA is sending out their big gun to speak at it, something significant should happen. But you never know. Is a release date possible? Perhaps. But it does seem like an odd place to reveal a release date. I've been anticipating a simple news release or a small press conference.

Re: Has Nintendo's silence regarding Twilight Princess caused you psychological damage?

same here since really the only 'high-profile' things are E3 and the Tokyo GameShow-both of which are still a decent ways off. *yes im aware of GDC but it isnt as huge as the other two*

Re: Has Nintendo's silence regarding Twilight Princess caused you psychological damage?

Fricking IGN.

I have automatic alerts sent to me from IGN whenever new Twilight Princess news comes out. I checked my email this morning, and lo and behold, there's a message from IGN with the subject, IGN's Latest: The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. For a second, I am quite excited, thinking that Nintendo has finally released the date, seeing as though I never get updates from IGN regarding Zelda anymore. I open it up and find a link to a stupid article called: Games-to-Comics Wishlist - Halo, Gears of War and other games that should be turned into comic books.

Needless to say, I was not pleased.

Wow, you are psychotic.

Anyway, I'm sort of happy its delayed, becuase I still don't have the money to buy it. But the delay is kinda like hunger, the more you think about it, the worse it gets.

What has this silence done to your emotional and psychological state?

I feel kind of stupid saying this, but I feel like I'm going crazy. This dryspell is almost unbearable. Every single day, I scour the internet looking for newly released information. Rumors of a release date, new gameplay footage--never anything huge. I've wasted countless hours of my time doing this, and to no avail. This delay and Nintendo's refusal to say anything is driving me nuts.

Yes, I'm EXAGGERATING CONSIDERABLY, but it still pisses me off.

Re: Has Nintendo's silence regarding Twilight Princess caused you psychological damage?

Well i wanted to play this game since it got first shown back in E3 over a year ago. They keep putting the date back and it make me very sad so very sad.Why is it taking so long because there are making it better and it will be so worth the wait but that still does not make it any easier to wait for april. So I replay my other zelda games and hopefully time will pass and i will get the game finally.AFter two delays i dont think i could handel a 3rd one please no more delays.

Well, speaking realistically, Miyamoto spoke at D.I.C.E. once.....can;t remember about what, but nintendo hardly has anybody speak at this event.

You were insluted? Oh, I'm sorry. I thought you wouldn't mind being called psychotic and all, since you did start this thread about being psychotic over TP. There's nothing wrong with being psychotic, I'm psychotic about penguins and Zelda!

I'm proud to be psychotic!

As a matter of fact, I think everyone on this ste is psychotic over TP, they just won't admit it.

Hahaha. I agree.

I apologize for misinterpreting you. It's hard to convey sarcasm and such over the internet, isn't it?

Thus the reason my mental state has been questioned repeatedly on this thread.

It theroly gets on my nerves. It makes me think, what if nintendo like, doesn't even have news on zelda, what if there was a problem and there restoring it, but then zelda blew up so now we can't have it!!
