Warning! May have spoilers! Zelda Revolution-controller sword and shield

I was looking on Hyrule.net today and i saw this.

I wasn't sure whether or not to put it in the spoiler section since it has nothing to do with TP. It's a pretty smart idea to put these on the revolution controller. Post your thoughts.

I think you'd need a lot of room space to implement those add-on's.

Seems a bit far fetched in my opinion, I wouldn't like it.

As long as it's sold separatly from the game. The head honcho of Nubysoft (sp) mentioned a possible scenario of the revolution, one which included multiple add on's to the remote, similar to the sword and sheild, commenting on how they would enhance the gamers experience, and also how they could be stored like trophies/// To me, it's all a gimmick, sure, I would put down 10-20 bucks for the sword and sheild add on, it's a neat idea for children.

I'd call it junk, but you might as well get it, so you can feel atl east a little bit naive.

Although an interesting idea, I don't think it will ever come to that in terms of add-ons. For starters, it's way too big... it wouldn't be practical to wield a sword and defend with a shield if the room you were playing in was too small... besides, I don't think older Zelda fans would feel confortable with that kind of setup (I sure wouldn't...). As a concept, it would appeal mostly to younger gamers, thus increasing the role-play element of the game...

It was stupid rumor/spoof. I swear, people seem to not read the whole thing when posting. I mean, it was barely any text, so why not read it?

Normally we don't waste our time on rumours or spoofs, but now and then something comes across that is worth a moment. This is something we wouldn't mind seeing as a bonus controller add-on for Zelda Revolution.

Actually, I did read that text, and then provided my opinion in this thread. I swear, people jump the gun so much....

That.... "thing" is also assuming that the rev controller will be directly controlling the movement of Link's sword, which I highly doubt will actually be the case. Much more likely the controller will merely be a directional indicator, than correspond directly to the movement of Link's hand.

Maybe it is a rumor, but it doesn't mean its false.

The thing looks wierd, maybe fun to play with a couple times, but nothing I would actually buy.

There is NO WAY you're gonna be able to swing that sword if they are not made of one single piece... Unless made of some very very light material like... Polysterene, or paper. And then they have to trasfer the thing that sends signals to the TV to the sword and... nah, sounds so unlikely.

Didn't you read the article? Did you even read the whole title? It is a spoof! It is fan made!

That looks so badly photoshopped plus I dont know about you but I would feel very strange and probably get made fun of by my friends if I were to use that. Lol I dont this this will go good with my parents either like If I were to actualy hit someone when im drunk or something.

I don't realy like the idea of having a sword ad on, but it would be neat to get a sword and shield with the game as a collectors thing.

Man that is so cool! But add ons can only plug into the bottom of the countroler. So if Nintendo do do the idea then it'll have to be a dual controller thing where one controller is used for the sword and a second controller used for the sheild.

That would be AMAZING! I would absolutly die!

The master sword need the yellow triangle at the top of the blade and the triforce, but close enugh....

God that would be great! Actually being part of the game!

I know. Hee hee I'm getting quite excited about the Revolution now.

It's a spoof. As in, a fake. The article said as much.

I know it is a fake, but It does open the option of doing something like that....im sure they would not do it, but if they did?

What?!?! Nintendo isn't smart enough to create something Like that?!? Have you ever played a Nintendo game before? I think Nintendo have proved there pretty smart over the years through their games and innovations. I reckon Nintendo have got controller add-ons that no one else thought off like the Revolution Controller was something no one else thought of.
