Actually, I'd say Nintendo is too smart to create something like that.

Personally, I think it's completely unnecessary. There's no room where I play video games. Besides, it looks really cheesy. Just swinging the controller without attachments would be fine. Anyway, how would they attach it without it accidentally flinging off somewhere when you swing it?

I was already let down when I saw the Revo controller. I'm coming to accept it, but I would never buy something like this.

It is a spoof (like I said earlier) and it looks retarded. I don't see how anyone could think otherwise because it is just stupid.

Seems like nothing but a trick, but if it's real I'd buy that. even if just to have hanging on my wall.

I would buy it.

Re: Warning! May have spoilers! Zelda Revolution-controller sword and shield

That is one of the lamest spoof I've ever seen. Not only is it badly photoshopped (see the purple glow over the remote where it meets the sword handle?) but really poorly thought-out. I mean, imagine how it would work: you grasp the remote and swing this large, probably heavy (even if it's plastic) wind-resistant attachment and of course the connection will snap.

That's like plugging an iPod into a usb cord and then swinging it like a mace over your head from the cord, expecting the iPod to not fly off and break.

Besides that, the idea is alright, as long as there are no attachments. I'd like to swing a controller and have Link attack with his sword on-screen. I hope force-feedback is improved over simple rumbling, too.

Re: Warning! May have spoilers! Zelda Revolution-controller sword and shield

....HAHAHAH!!! Looks like someone just made a Master Sword stuck it on the Rev. contorller, made a shield, and put it were the joystick is supposed to be lol. I suppose this could be an "ADD ON" to younger Zelda gamers for new Zelda games. I'm sure kids like the idea of swinging a sword and choping things up on the T.V. screen.

Re: Warning! May have spoilers! Zelda Revolution-controller sword and shield

Ok ok.. So were playing Zelda in your average bedroom. You've got ornaments and cds and these kind of things. So you see an ememy and start slashing away with this like size sword.. its going to do some damage..?

Re: Warning! May have spoilers! Zelda Revolution-controller sword and shield

the screenshot, even though it looks real and is gr8 looking could never actually happen.

1.the sword if placed on front would block the infrared port, disabling action.

2.the shield is placed over an analog controller ad on.

3.if the buttons were of use your hands would push in the buttons causing unwanted actions.

4.you would have to move with the d-pad which is really undesirable when they have an analog controller available.

It looks most coo but I would end up breaking somwthing after I get angry at the game and start swinging around like a mad man.

Well you couls have the infered come out the sword and the analog on the shield could be used to move. And you could hold the wepon higher up away from buttons.
