New Link Hero of Animals

What hero do you think link is going to be in TP? Like for example WW Hero Of the Winds
and OOT and MM Hero of Time. I think in TP link will be called (Drum Role) Hero of the Twilight. What do you think?

It looks like nature will be a big part of this game, what with Link talking to animals and occasionally being one himself... Yep, nature.

Doe link HAVE to be the 'Hero of x'? I'd like it if nintendo didn't just go the same line again

We all love tradition. He's been the Hero of Something for a long time, and we, at least I, wouldn't wanna change it. Nintendo would let me down if they i.e would begin calling him 'Running with Wolves,' 'Duke of Grass' or something like that. If you get my point.

Hero of Twilight sounds about right. Though, Hero of "OMG ITS TEH 3D GRAFFICS ITS LIEK SO AWESOMEST" would probably be uttered by many WW haters...

I think he will be named as the"Hero of Light". because he brings light back in hyrule and destroys the twilight.

The Hero of Light was the ALttP Link. The song in the credits is called Hero of Light. Anyways, I think that he'll be called Hero of Twilight.

Actually, it was Hero of Legend. I have a list of these names somewhere i can't remember now. And I'm almost sure it may be Hero of Twilight. However, I'm not sure on what this word 'twilight' means...

personally i don't think he will be called the hero of twilight as the name usually seems to relate to the powers or abilities he uses, not the thing he is fighting against.

I agree with the whole nature concept, but i think there will probably be a more specific name that will come up during the course of the story that we can't actually know yet.

still Link didn't have a title in MM or LA did he? but then i suppose thath is because MM link is the hero of time link and i'm pretty sure it was confirmed that this was a new Link.

but hey, for all i know Link might be the twilight princess himself!

I really don't think he'll be a hero... in the sense of the word. But maybe the Hero of... Beasts?

Each reincarnation of Link receives a different title (not name BTW). In the first games (LoZ and AoL) he was called the Hero of Hyrule and in the two others (LttP and LA) he was the 'Hero of Legend'.

When you say that in MM and LA he had no title you are wrong. The Link who appeared in MM was the same that appeared in OoT, then the 'Hero of Time' while the one in LA is the same one whom appeared in LttP, so the 'Hero of Legend'.

Now, back on-topic - and I'm really sorry for going this way off-topic -, as in all other games, Link shall receive a title in TP, it can perfectly be 'Hero of Twilight', but as somebody already said, 'Hero of Light' would be more like due to the storyline of this new game...

In the windwaker it said that when the Hero of time left, the qualities that made him a HERO were removed (ToC). So, he would not be a hero. Oh and by the way, did MC Link have a title?

Actually, he was known as Hero of Legend in ALTTP. Refer to the Maidens, they'll often call Link that.

thats what i meant to correct myself obout when i said that MM Link was the hero of time Link etc.

I like the Hero of dawn idea, sounds like a nice title, but again, it seems unlikely as so far we don't know if Link can actually control Light or the sun or whatever.

Someone mentioned the "hero of beasts"? That sounds like a good 'un to me. If i had to put my money on one it would definately be something along those lines, what with the apparent focus on animal interraction from what we've seen so far.

I never liked that little additional title in there. It sounded like it was tacked on just for some, well appeal or something. Or I guess, to distinguish between the Links. But personally, I don't feel that he needs that little thing. Just Link is fine for me. But my mind sees Hero of Twilight or something to that effect, for a little generic and obvious answer.

The Hero of Beasts. Since Link has the ability to be a Wolf. Link is always named after what he can do. Think about it. Hero of: TIME he can go back and forth in time. WINDS he can control the winds. LIGHT he stade the normle Link in the dark world as if he was the light. Do you all agree or not. Or the Hero of Wolf.

This probably isn't true, because I'm jinxing it now by saying it, and I'm sorry if this already came up. But has anyone brought up the point that this new Link could possibly be the Hero of Animals. I'm just judging off of OoT, TWW, and MM, but in OoT and MM Link was the Hero of Time, and in TWW Link was the Hero of Winds. They also somewhat accentuate the points of them being the Hero's of Time and Wind, especially in TWW. I'm seeing a trend emerging here. And judging by the accentuation on Epona, Link's Hawk, and the fact that he is a cowboy makes me think that he could be the Hero of Animals.
Just a thought.

wow! interesting! But the hero of animals sounds a but corny, doesnt it... perhaps teh hero of the wild? plus he has to hold some scared sword or something... is the master sword even in TP?
