swords

in OoT there were three swords... in MM there were three swords, and in Wind waker there were only two swords. In my opinion there should be WAY more chances to get more swords. Sharper swords, longer swords, all that stuff.

Well, I'm not much of a sword person, I'd stick with the good old Sword of Evil's Bane anyday. Plus, it's the person that wields the sword, not the weapon itself.
Although for people like Sword&Pedestal, I wouldn't mind it if the new games had a large armory, I just probably wouldn't use them. So... Sure! Why not have a bunch of swords? It's better than collecting kinstones and joy pendants... (Clicks "More than 3")

In zelda every sword has basically been a more powerful version of the last one. That's ok, but I think it'd be really cool to have different sword good for different situations, like DMC or something. But it may never happen.

I personally like the idea of having more than 3 swords....but anything above 6 swords would just be too pokemon-ish.."gotta catchem all". I like the style of going from a learning wooden sword, to a small metal sword, to a medium metal sword...them maybe 2 different versions of the medium metal sword, like a medium metal sword that cracks open like Ivy's whip in Soul Calibur...and another Medium metal sword that when you have full health, shoots ice beams and freezes enemies. Finally for the last sword...it would be the Master sword...full legnth. This is prolly what Shigsy will do...but another really cool concept is that every time you defeat a temple or dungeon..your sword could get a new etching or new gem inset into the sword making it more powerful! This would still allow us to keep our beloved sword...but add beauty and style to the once dull sword. I would love to see new etching being put in on my sword with hylian insignias The sword idea is great....but in the long run, i would much prefer more Tunics styles than sword styles. Too many swords would prolly take away from the character build up....your sword is your friend, and shouldnt be exchanged too often....its something special...like a lightsaber is to a Jedi Knight. I dont see too many Jedi's upgrading the saber ever...but i do see te Jedi's changing outfit's every 5 minutes of Lucas' film. lol

Three swords is a nice number...The first sword you start out with. And the master sword once you get more into the game. And hopefully some cool bonus sword you can get at the end. Like in OoT... The big Goron Sword. But not make it more powerful than the Master Sword because thats just wrong.

Just hope nintendo doesnt come up with the idea to "collect stray faires" or something like that to earn a certain item. like the fairy sword in MM

When I say more than 3, i dont mean over 50, like drakenguard, I just mean 4,5 or maybe 6.

There should be different types of swords, like the ones u can give him in Soul Calibur II

yes I agree that the master sword should be the most powerful sword in the game, but in OoT the biggorons sword was more powerful. Even against Ganondorf. But, you couldnt use your sheild. I think that there shold be another sword like that.

Why not the master sword any other sword would just be less than the master sword

I believe three is a good number but there should be more weapons that you could steal from enemies than there was in the Wind Waker.

Didn't OoT have four swords if you count the Giant's Knife? Back on topic, I personally would like to see a return of either the Biggoron sword, Gilded sword, or Great Fairy Sword.

I hope you get a bagillian swords! I love the swords! I do I do I do! I love getting new swords, it makes my character feel safe and mannly!

the second being the Master Sword, and the third being some sort of Twilight Blade. I hope Link will be able to access the Twilight at some point without necessarily turning into a wolf and if that happens, I think a special blade would be required to destroy some of those eerie-looking creatures that dwell inside it...
