Animal Themed Dungeons...

Well we all know that the dungeons in TP will most likley follow an animal theme for each one. This is based on the fact that the first forest dungeon has monkeys all over it. So based on the first dungeon, i would like everyone to form an idea of at least 7 dungeons based on a really cool animal ( The boss of the dungeon will most likely follow the theme very closey)...and then when TP finally comes out we can see how close we are! Here are my choices...

1)Temple Style - Animals - Boss (This is the format you should follow)

1) Forest Dungeon - Monkeys - Plant boss ( as seen in pics )
2) Sand Temple - Snakes and Scorpions - Cobra boss
3) Fire Temple - Bats and demons - Ogre wih Fire Chain ( as seen in pics )
4) Ocean temple - Sharks, electric eels, Jellyfish - Octopuss boss
5) Sky Temple - Winged beasts, Flying Dragons - Dragon boss
6) Earth Temple - Worms, Bugs, catepliiars - Huge slimy worm boss
7) Snow temple - Dark Artic Wolves, Polar bears - Dark Link

I dont think every temple will be "animal-based", but the theory was good though

see, you say "fire boss" but, i think that "fire boss" looks sooo much like Ganon at the end of OoT

They say that tp will have more dungeeons than oot so I guess that they have to get an idea from somewhere

Well in OoT there were elemental based dungeons, as well as spirit and shadow, then in MM there were, you know like zora and goron temples, and in WW there were elemental dungeons, as well as towers and stuff like that. I think animal based dungeons would be a nice change of pace.

I think you got a little carried away with the animal part, if each dungeon was based on an animal, then you'de have to rescue the animales, that is, if you are basing this off of the forest temple, which I assume you are.

Yes...i was reffering to the Forest Temple.

I know that Nintendo wants to make this a special game..and pretty much make it the best Zelda ever....so they are going to be very careful to not repeat themselves from past Zelda games...wich is why i based my theory on that they might introduce a new "STYLE" of dungeon. I for one, think that dungeons should be thought of in a different way. No more...earth, water, fire, sand...etc. Hpw about a temple that is underground one of the villiages or towns....or a temple that you have to enter, work up to a certain point, exit the temple, find some kind of item, and then re-enter and finish off the temple. Something like that would be kinda cool. Also...i think that new themes should be brought in. In pics, we saw Link swimming in what looks to be a coral reef!...could there be a Coral Ocean temple...hmm...wich brings me back to my first point....that Miyamoto might be basing the temples off of Animal Habitats! Forest Temple you have Monkeys, because Monkeys live in the forest....

The main purpose of this thread was to think of new temple ideas that would introduce a new setting...other than Wind, Fire, Water, Earth, Sand...etc..

Ocean would be a cool new style...
Crystal temple would be bada$$....
Sky Temple...very cool....
Metal temple....neat....

See where im going with this..I know there are at least a million people that would love to see an Ocean temple or Crystal temple instead of Fire or Earth..again!!! lol

I do like the idea of changing the water temple to an ocean temple, because that totally changes the types of creatures.

Here's just some ideas (not in any order):

1. Light Temple - Angels, Floating Suns - A 8 winged seraphim, or a giant white doll with a cracked smiling face
2. Fire Temple - Blue flamed fu dogs, Green Flamed tortoises - A regular sized red-flamed lion, for a very tactical, hands on fight.
3. Garden of Good & Evil - Black Rooms with ghosts and blades outlined in white, White rooms with demon children outlined in black - Two eyes on a wall, like facade from LA, who's eyes switch from black to white and control objects in the room to keep you from attacking its eyes.
4. River Temple - Kappa, Ningyo, Water nymphs - King of Ningyo, for very hands on fight
5. Forest Temple - Ivy and Moss covered granite statues, brown wolves - A giant fall colored walking tree, in a room of other fall colored trees for him to hide and camouflage himself.

but it's still about creatures.
