This is basically the same thing. You should look more before you make more threads, and you really should make more effort into it.

Well, if I could create any weapon for Link, my number one choice would be a staff that Link could fight with much like his sword. Also, I would allow it to give him a special ability. Probably the ability to polevault over large gaps, since roc's cape is missing from every one of the 3D games, and the Deku leaf just didn't cut it.

Another weapon I would like to see added to Link's arsenal is, well, it's not really a weapon, but I would like him to have hand to hand combat, sorta like a mix between martial arts and and plain out street fighting. It would give Link a way to be able to fend for him slef in early parts of a game before he acquires his sword or any other useful items and also, if his sword was taken or knocked away, then he could quickly defend himself without having to pull another weapon out.
