Correct me if I'm wrong

COrrect em if im wrong but i remember there being someone saying that "there will be a new wave of TP info before 2006". There's what, 15 days or so left of 2005 and no new info? Does anybody know when they will be releasing new info?

Don't recall anything of the sort, but I'm sure there will be some news released soon enough.

Re: Correct me if I'm wrong

I think Matt over at IGN Cube said that he expected Nintendo to release new info around the time of the Xbox 360 launch. However, that sort of thing makes good sense, which means Nintendo is not going to do it.

I also expected there to be some info last month as that was when TP was suppose to be released.
We will have no new info now as its Christmas...Everyone will be on there break. So new info in the New year....Its looking that way >_>

TP was supposed to be released in the Holiday Season 2005. Nintendo never stated that it would be released in November.

Everyone expected a November release, though. It was the best idea, considering that TP would have been just in time for the holidays. That, and Eiji also hinted at a November release--I forget when or where.

As for the "new wave of info", yes, that was stated by a rather reliable source. TSA, a reliable source for Zelda info (especially in the area of TP), said that there will be one before 2005 kicked the bucket. However... it's now the first of January, and we've seen nothing but a new screenshot in December's NP. I have to admit, I'm rather disappointed.

Just wait. Reggie said in an interview that the info will come in Febuary or January.

You, me, and everyone else on this forum. Of course, I'm eager to see what the Zelda crew's done to beef up TP. But I'm also a very impatient person, and I have an all-around fast-paced nature. I'm grateful that they decided to hold it back for further development, but that doesn't change the fact that I'm having Twilight Princess withdrawal. >_>

Re: Correct me if I'm wrong

I think there's enough info out about the game already. Any more and it'd just be too much spoiler and you wouldn't enjoy the early parts of the game as much.

Re: Correct me if I'm wrong

I'm quite ok that we have to wait, but the fact that the zelda team working on TP has been so concerned with their fan base and this game, and the fact that they are keeping us in totally darkness of what progress has been made on TP thus far pisses me off alot, it's been months since we've had some new info, and quite frankly the speculation in gaming magazines is pissing me off even more. Getting some peoples hopes up that TP will be revo compatible, releasing one 1 screen shot of link in taoru, fishing of all things!!! God nintendo!! if this goes on a month more their gonna start having a large amount of doubting fans, doubting in nintendo's ability to please us... COME ON!

Re: Correct me if I'm wrong

Hmm... I wonder what the Zelda crew would think if they took a look at the ZU forums... It would be rather flattering for them, I think. All of these people counting on them to produce a true work of art; a world in motion; a world of beauty and of despair, of majesty and of terror... I bet they would also be spurred to leak something. Or, at the very least, anonymously start an interesting rumor.

Usual, eh? So, an eventful day for you would be a coup de grace of the British Empire?

More likely it would terrify them! Imagine having that sort of pressure on you!

i think they'll simply ignore it-they probably see stuff like this daily-the nintendo.com forums are the same.
