Oh Please No!

I was reading my current issue of Nintendo Power when what should I stumble upon but a Tingle RPG (yes, you heard right) in the works for Japan, and possibly the USA. I thought to myself "can this be happening?" The worst has come true! IGN also has a tiny blurb about it:

The mascot character from Zelda: Wind Waker gets his own RPG on the DS. We've seen a screenshot, but it's so confusing that we don't know what to make of it yet.

The end of the Zelda series has come as we know it...only Twilight Princess can save it now!

OH MY GOD! You have to be joking! Tingle! NO! I will never except that! THey are crazy! Who would play that! It's ridiculous! Absurd even! *keeps on ranting* I'm going to go sulk now........

Yeah its true. I was so shocked when I read it. I dont think it will ruin the Zelda franchise, but I dont think it will be widely popular.

^that link is announcing something about the game, but it's definately true. There was some thriving thread about it at one point.

Edit: This picture is from the current issue of Nintendo Power. I can't seem to make heads or tails of it, but it looks like some sort of boss that Tingle is fighting by dropping bombs on it. Note that this game is for the DS, as inferred from the touch target on the boss below Tingle.

^ Found it. That has alot about the game frpm when the rumor first arrived.

I don't have a scanner and my webcam isn't the best, but here is a picture of the magazine.



The caption underneath it says, "Wario usually has the corner of the weird market, and a glimpse of his "mystic theif" game confirms that he's doing the DS his own way. But the Tingle RPG may give Wario a run for his money."

Well, judgeing oon that picture, like half of the games pictured on it are out right now, so I imagine tingle will be out too. I wont mind playing it, as long as its not like "Koola limpah woopa!" all the time, it needs to have a small dark side like his dad dies or something.
