Talking Sequel to OoT and MM.

Does anyone think there should be a sequel of the greatest Zelda game ever. The OoT led into MM because Link left of on a quest for an old friend, NAVI, and he never found her. She left when Link went back to his time. He went the lost woods and ran into Tatli the jerk fairy. Also who did marry to have a desended. If you think hard you can figure it out. In TP he is a farmer. The ranch girl Molon :embrsd: . They need to complete the OoT/MM sereis.

#1. Fix your grammar

#2. The Hero of Time series is already complete. We'll never know what happened to Link afterwards.

Re: Sequel to OoT and MM.

First of all you misspelled FIX, and also if you read the begining of MM it said link was looking for a old friend (NAVI). Also it was the best series ever in the Zelda saga. The Link from OoT was the best and the should make a sequel.

It's your "Opinion" that Link from OOT was the best. Doesn't mean everyone else agrees.

Zelda is meant to be a mix of mysterious stories between a legendary hero. We're not supposed to know what happened after Link in MM. Trust me on this, they won't make a sequel.

Hey newbie, you mispelled Malon (molon, if you think this is a character in TP, well your wrong), decendANT, Tatl, not tatli. So don't go around being a hypocrite ok?

Anywho, you are too opinionated to even make a thread, OoT has it's flaws and can just as easily not be the greatest zelda game, OoT is basically over, we DO NOT need to see the hero of time again, that would be pointless. Zelda needs to expand, hell, nintendo has already gone far enough by stating that in TP link will fix the events(paradoxes) that happened in OoT/MM

Re: Sequel to OoT and MM.

Quick note: OoT's flaws are a part of its beauty

But I can see the comparison. Link's a farmer. Most people think he would have married Malon and probably had babies which could be the hero in TP or the parents of the hero in TP... But the ramifications of a decision to make TP solely a sequel to OoT/MM would be so copious and the makers would find themselves in a loop hole, continuing making sequels to explain faults or mysteries in the games beforehand. But would it be that bad?

One thing that differenciates Link and Malon having kids during after the OOT era to seeing farmer Link in TP is that both farms are knowhere near eachother.

You forget Toaru village is outside of Hyrule, and the only farm in Hyrule is Lon Lon Ranch. Most likely it's just another plain Link chosen by destiny to save Hyrule. OOT Link is mostly likely dead by then.

I always have to say that...

And no. OoT's time is over. The closest thing you're going to get to a sequel is TP.

I totally agree.

No one would want to see Link past his glory right?

And I am a little mad that a lot of Oot races will be back (or so everyone says)

Oh, and emphasize the word LITTLE.

Re: Sequel to OoT and MM.

This is a good example of what I mean: There are a great number of Zelda fans that pointlessly cling to OoT and insist it's the best Zelda game (and game for that matter) ever made.

First off, I don't see how anybody can say that WW ISN'T a sequel to Oot. It's a direct aftermath of the events found in OoT.

Secondly, hero of time, winds, moshing, KY jelly, who cares? Link is Link. Why people consider the one found in WW any different from the one found in OoT is beyond me. No matter what "time period" the game may take place in, Link is Link. One character. Not multiple.

third and final: Zelda is about as logical as a talking Lion going on a expedition to to the planet alpha centri on an orange with football legend Jerry Rice in order to fix my corrupted JPG files.

Nobody has been able to make sense of anything found in this series and nobody ever will. I see far to many post in this thread that attempt that.

Re: Sequel to OoT and MM.

hehe, Hero of Moshing Link is a pretty rad concept He'd go to Black Flag gigs and have a mohawk.
Back on Topic...Isn't TP set "decades after" OOT and some characters will still be alive from OOT's Hyrule? I remember reading that somewhere. So this is sort of a continuation. I think it's better to leave it open to speculation rather than make it a close ended story.

Re: Sequel to OoT and MM.

OOT Link won't be in the story, I think. I don't think he ever returned from Termina. If he was back, he would be TP Link's great-great-great grandpappy. And who would they have in TP that was in OOT? None of them seem really important to the story... Zelda is always reborn, the King of Hyrule only ever played an important part in WW (I think). Maybe we might see the Great Deku Tree/Sprout again though. I think if he is in there, he'll tell a story about "the other boy in green clothes".

Re: Sequel to OoT and MM.

The necessity of it is kind of weakened by the fact that Twilight Princess is supposedly going to tie up the loose ends and provide some closure for the Hero of Time saga.

Re: Sequel to OoT and MM.

MM, WW, and LttP all tie into the aftermath of OoTs story, I've been playing zelda games since that glorious year of 86 and i say Oot is The best zelda game, and the best game ever.

now then. TP is only a few decades after OoT, who knows, we might see a old retired warrior in that game, the hero of time himself. it could be a dungeon or battle sequence in the game where you fight along with him. could be one of those "amazing new gameplay elements bieng added after the delay."

Of course I want to see another sequel of LoZ and AoL!!^_^ What, you're not talking about them?

Quote:
The OoT led into MM because Link left of on a quest for an old friend, NAVI, and he never found her. She left when Link went back to his time. For starters, according the King of Red Lions, Link was called away from Hyrule. Therefore, I believe he got dreams where he saw himself in an unfamiliar land with a faerie he likely mistook for Navi. That is why, I believe, he left to search for Navi.

Also, Malon is a MINOR character. There's no way they would hook him up with her, and the evidence of Link/Zelda beats the evidence of Link/Malon, if the latter can be called evidence. More like speculations. And saying that because TP Link is a farmer OoT Link must have married Malon is just stupid.

For starters, Toaru Village is FAR away from Hyrule. Had OoT Link married Malon his family would have been stuck to Lon Lon Ranch for generations, unless something bad happens to the ranch. That's why I hope Lon Lon Ranch is in TP.

EDIT:

Quote:

He do return, or didn't you see that final scene in MM? The same woods and the same music, so of course he returns.

Re: Sequel to OoT and MM.

so your implying zelda promotes incest? intresting, theirs a lot more ground for link ending up with no one then zelda. but of course he does otherwise how could LttP and AoL be "blood" related. of all the girls in OoT the only possible conclusion is malon. its not really that big of a deal but people make it that way.
