TP: Did anyone else foresee the delay?

I though about this way before the game's delay was announced, so I saw it coming.
They have been saying that Twilight Princess will be the last gamecube game released.
The instant I saw that, I knew that it would be pushed back to 2006, because Nintendo still had other games for Gamecube besides TP planned for release.
Am I the only one that foresaw the delay and wasen't crushed in surprise?

I didn't "forsee" it being delayed but I did think it was a possibility due to the fact that we were only a few months from the approximate release and still hadn't recieved a official date.
I was still crushed by it though after hearing them promise time after time that it would come out in 2005 and not in 2006. Now they're claiming that it will not be a Rev title.

We'll see.

I foresaw a delay, but I didn't think itd be so late.
Care to explain where you found that line though? Because Reggie said TP was planned for a Holiday release (before Delay), which is roughly Nov - Dec.

HOW could it be the last gamecube game released back then when other titles are being released as of late December?
NOW that we have the delay though it's possible to be one of the last, but I still don't know where you got that line from

I hope it won't be a REV title.
I may be placing my hopes high, but I'm expecting a REV Zelda so incredible that TP look's lame in comparison.[ and the system should be good enough to do it.]

It's already confirmed not to be a Rev title... won't be happening so don't worry.

Magazines aren't always an official source to look at, and I have YET to see this anywhere online, so from what I can tell it was simply just a rumor you read, because it wasn't true before the delay. Other games were planned for release sometime after Holiday 2005. So you couldn't have predicted the delay over some odd rumor.

Either way now that we have the delay, most likely it will be one of the last games to be released.

I mean we first saw it E3 2004... Thats coming up on almost 2 years ago. And who knows what far they had already got by then they could of been making it before tWW for all we know.

So since IT IS delayed Im sure it is going to be the best Zelda ever.

Yeah actually I don't think I saw it anywhere and I tried to read all the articles i could find, and i watched all the interviews and media-hype and post here once a day if i can and i've never seen that.

I had a feeling they would delay TP because December would be rushing it. Im glad that they daelayed it because that means they are making it better which makes it better worth my 50 bucks.

I knew it was coming simply because within months of it's release they STILL didn't have a set date for it's release.

I did not know it was coming but I knew it could happen. It wasnt surprizing because its not the first delay Nintendo has done. It should be worth it from my guess.

I expected it, but hoped that it wouldn't come to that.

I can't say it surprised me, but I think of the delay as a good thing. We know they are taking extra time to perfect the game down to the final touch, and it builds up the anticipation of its release until it's finally here, which will come quickly. I'm glad they are taking their time in making Twilight Princess and aren't rushing it and regretting it like Microsoft and their stupid XBOX 360 burning up their disks.

Well I got my Game Informer today and they say that they are considering makeing it a REV title, but it is not official yet but they are really thinking about it.

I hope they don't. I think it will sell better on the Gamecube and if they release it on the Revolution they will probably delay it even more. I think they will stick to the Gamecube, knowing Nintendo usually does what I would do. I don't know why but it just seems like a smarter move to keep it for GCN.

They better make it for the GC because there is no way i coul aford a REV after the 360 i just got. Plus i ordered TP almost 2 years ago and it was suposed to be for GC and the Nintendo Power said there not shore what system it will be for.
