Twilight Princess deffinitely NOT on Revolution

After reading all the rumors on this website that Twilight Princess would be moved to the Revolution, I was starting to feel somewhat aprehensive just thinking about it. Then, to make my fears even worse, in the latest issue of Electronic Gaming Monthly, they had a rumor box saying that Twilight Princess might not make it's spring release, and that if that happens, it might be moved to the Revolution. Sure, it was a rumor box, but it was printed in a widely read, trusted magazine.

So I wanted an answer from Nintendo. Is there even a possibility that Twilight Princess will be moved to the Revolution? So I e-mailed Nintendo. I honestly wasn't expecting a real answer. However, Nintendo pleasantly surprised me. One night later, I had a response, and the answer I had been desiring was in my inbox.

Twilight Princess is going to be on the Nintendo Gamecube. Nintendo confirmed it personally for me. I was also informed that a different, seperate Zelda game is being produced for the Revolution (which we already knew about). So even though this topic has been discussed, and this thread might get locked because of that, I wanted to let all of you know that Twilight Princess is going to be on the Gamecube, and that Nintendo personally told me so, and they'll tell you the same if you were to e-mail them.

Thank God for that. I'd rather play it on Gamecube. So they can make the one for Revolution better!

Here's one more thing to help alleviate your fears:

I've gotten to the point where I barely believe anything they say. But as long as they release it before I die from old age I'll be happy.

Of course it won't be on Revolution. The game's engine and graphics are pretty much finished, and from this point on, everything is just expanding and polishing the game.

They've invested too much into the current build of the game to want to redo so much of it for the Revolution.

One of the revolution producers intervewd with CUBE magzine said that The TP will be on the Gamecube, but they are going to redo it for the Rev, but with only diffrent gameplay all graphics are the same.

So you can experience both ways.

Would you mind telling me which issue this was in?

wtf I don't believe that... Why on earth would they do that for when there is a Zelda coming to Revo? You will be able to play TP on the Revo anyway just the old fashion GC way.

Something to back that up would be nice.

Yes, Twilight Princess will come out to GameCube. Enough worrying.

I see no reason to leave this open.
