Your Zelda Holiday Wish List.

Write down here what you would like to see in a Zelda game somewhere around the holidays of 2007 once we have more options in technology.

#1 More challenging puzzles

#2 Longer gameplay hours.[100+]

#3 Better partners for Link, and harder battles. [ Let Zelda be an AI partner in her Sheik form, with Enchanted Kunai as well as magic, in some points of the story.]

#4 Extra options for after the game is beaten, and you can choose which ones you want to start with from a list.[ beat it once to unlock a list of options to start a new game with. Harder difficulty option after beaten once, extra hearts option after beaten twice, new Tunic-type at start after 3 times beaten, etc,etc,etc.]

#4 More Dragon-type bosses.

#5 A Duel Mode where you can face off against your favorite bosses anytime after beating them in the story mode.

#6 More cut-scenes with stellar backdrops.

#7 More variety for enemies.

1. More [human/Hylian] fighting [allied] male characters, like Shiekah. Link can't be the only Here all the time, can he?

2. A cameo return-appearance of Dark Link, or a game based on Link's "darker side".

3. More variety of weapons and larger arsenal store.

4. A soundtrack composed by one of the masters. Howard Shore or somebody.

5. A new wardrobe.

Well that is pretty easy I guess:
-VS mode
-More weapons
-different/new monsters
-leveling up weapons
-play as Link, Zelda, Ganon, etc.
-harder bosses/monsters
-for handheld games linking capibility
-more intricate maps
-more bottles to find
-more side challenges

I hope I don't get coal beacause all I want for christmas is my two front teeth... lol

Sorry about that.

1. You receive more damage in battle instead of a 1/4 damage. This can make it harder, and more fun!
2. Cool, creative weapons(Dream Weapon for Link)
3. Something like a battle, like LOTR!

That's all I can think of.

1. A fully orchestrated soudtrack, utilizing a collaboration between Koji Kondo and John Williams.
2. A new, darker, more complex storyline. Something more than "Zelda's in danger! Go save her!"
3. New design for Ganondorf, something more edgy. I remember in the early stages of WW concept art, there was a version of him with longer hair. That'd be cool.
4. The Return of Dark Link as a fully developed character. (See my upcoming [I hope] fanfic The Skybound Kingdom .)
5. and finally, for the final boss fight, a one on one duel between Link and Ganondorf set to something like Battle of the Heros from RotS. That would be awsome.

1. More involves system when fighting melee with another character, i.e. sword to sword or sowrd to axe, something like that.

2. More magic. I'm not talking about all out elemental attacks, like fireballs or lighting strikes for Link, just small things like maybe Din's Fire can engulf his sword and arrows.

3. Improved version of the bow, maybe something like a triple shot? That would be cool, hitting three enemies at once.

4. A system where you become more skilled with certain weapons the more you use them, bu tthe weapons attack strength doesn't change. I have a thread about this in Future Zelda.

5. Definitely more cutscenes with stunning graphics. I also, would like to see alot more expression in Link's face plus a little voice acting.

6. 100+ hours of game play, can't go wron gwith that, just don't make it crappy. I cna't remember how many times I wished I could've gotten into the castle in OoT after I beat the game.

7. I've wanted to play as Ganon so many times it's not even funny. The Triforce of Power would be awesome to weild, and I'm sure it would be interesting to actually fight Link once instead of always being him. Also, Dark Link should definitely make a reappearance with my of a story attached to him.

Wow, not many seemed to agree with the 100+ hours suggestion............

1. A very, very long game. I don't have that much money to spend on games, so a game better last me or I may not get it.

2. A Fable-like equipment system that allows you to get/buy weapons, armor, clothing, etc. and mix and match different things (i.e. leather armor on your limbs, chainmail chest peice, and a steel helmet)

3. Free-roaming after the end of the game. Preferrably with new side-quests and other features (re-do boss fights, new areas, etc.)

4. More combos in the fighting system, and reduction of the "button-mashing" feel of the combat.

5. More games where you play a younger Link.

6. Every game should have a horse, a boat, and other animals/vehicles that you can use. Not one game there's a horse as your main mode of transportation, and the next it's a boat, but every game would have a horse, a boat, maybe a dragon/some kind of eagle (MAYBE... I'm not too big on flying mounts in Zelda, but it would make it easier to get places like [insert anything here] Mountain.

That's about it. I might think up of more later, though.

Remember LA(DX)? You could get a "triangle of power" or "nut of protection" (or whatever) by defeating enemies. These gave you temporary effects that enebled you to do awesome stuff. They must utilize it in 3D games.

-Huge landscapes

-Full sized towns that actually have houses that the people live in (that's the 1 thing that has always annoyed me about video games)

-A good sized Hyrule castle (the one in WW was kind of dissaopinting)

-lots of mountains to climb

-horseback riding, and boating in one game

-transformation masks, or something similar (that was the coolest element of MM)

-having it set up so that your actions during the game determens later events, and ultimitaly the outcome of the game

And just for fun:
-A dungeon where you have to save hundreds of screaming children from Tingle

1. more challenging in general
2 BE ABLE TO JUMP!
3 alot more game play 100 hours +
4 more weapons you dont just use twice
5 different tunics/clothes
6 more side quests (not just one set quest)
7 vs mode -versing bosses or other players after you beat the game
8 newplaces
9 an AI companion at sometimes
10 more awosme cut scenes

Most of the things people have suggested previously + another thing.

Take the epic scale of the Wind Waker ending (which I somewhat feel is one of the best Zelda endings ever), double it, and then stretch it throughout the entire game.

1. VS Battle mode (like in Donkey Kong 64)
2. VS Battle mode (like in Tekken)
3. Online battle mode
4. Map editor for vs battle mode!
5. Speaking Link (in Japanese of course)
6. When you have finished the game, you can choose to start over with another character e.g. Zelda, Ganon, Tingle.
7. Loads of sidequests
8. FMV Sequences
9. Co-op mode like in Four Swords (splitscreen)
10. Customize Link's appearance! (mustache, beard, tunic, hear color etc.) hehe

That'd be great! Just great!
