No I don't know what is on it but after you get it could you post what is on the dvd in this thread. That would be really awsome if you could tell us what is on the dvd.

Looks pretty cheap and nasty if you ask me. They have just downloaded all the free movies off IGN.com etc and stuck them on a disc.

Looks not only pathetic, but illegal as well. I have reported this site to NOA's legal department.

I saw this thread on the referrer list, so I thought I'd give some comment.

Nope, it's serious.

Haven't heard anything yet, but don't worry. Everything has been done in consultation with Nintendo of Europe (where the main office is located) and it's perfectly legal.

you're funny
it has over 3 hours of stuff, from the ENTIRE demo on tape, to all trailers in DVD quality (**** IGN, they suck), to a 30 minute video preview, to an exclusive trailer etc. etc. etc.

---

@topicstarter:
please let me honestly know how you like it when you receive it. good feedback is important to us.

Re: Has anybody seen the hyrule net dvd with the zelda trailers and gameplay footage?

Er... Hyrule.net, who are you?

Hm... I would actually pay for this if I weren't saving up my meager allowance for something else. God, I need a paying job... DVD quality is always fun. But to be brutally honest, I would much rather have the playable demo itself. Then again, who wouldn't? Also, this might help with the transcription of the music from the third demo that my friend and I are working on. The quality of all the ones we find on the internet are horrible, and I even found several in which the video and sound weren't synchronized. Truly horrifying.

But again, I still say that the Big N should release a special edition of the playable demo. Perhaps for those who have already pre-ordered a copy of TP. After they delayed it, we all got the call from Gamestop and were bashing our heads against whatever blunt, solid object happened to be closest. I think we deserve some compensation, and the demo would be a perfect way to whet us Zelda fans' appetites.

I'm the webmaster of Hyrule.net

Well, the problem with the trailers on the internet is the size. We've got the original trailer from Nintendo's E3 press kit, but that's 600MB. Try putting that on the internet for download.

We have got the music of all the trailers on the site btw. Both the music directly from the trailers and the original compositions.

*Falls over animè style* My creativity bone hurts... Ah, oh well. Perhaps we should continue the transcription anyway, it would be an interesting side project.

So, you're Hyrule.net's webmaster? I've never been there, but I'll be sure to give it a good, thorough look. Not right now, of course. I'm still too depressed over the fact that today's Thursday and I still have to endure Friday before my uber-tastic Turkey Day break starts. But then again, maybe that music will liven my mood. I happen to look upon the orchestrations in Zelda with admiration; there's just something about classical music that soothes my soul.

We're open since E3, but already one of the biggest sites of the web. There's quite some of the basic information that has yet to be added, but as you'll find, we're overrun with very interesting exclusives and there's no site that matches our news system.

I agree on the music. I'm normally no fan of classical music, but game music and certainly Zelda music in particular is fabulous!

Ah... ^_^ That theme to the third trailer always brings tears to my eyes... *Sniff*

Well, I can assure you that I'll keep up with your site, as well as The Hylia. I'm definitely impressed with your collection of tracks concerning the TP trailers; it's more than I've seen anywhere else, though that's not saying much. In any case, good luck with your site. I should warn you, though, that the MODs don't take kindly to shameless self-promotion outside of the Advertising subforum.

Re: Has anybody seen the hyrule net dvd with the zelda trailers and gameplay footage?

The great thing with Hyrule.net is that you have the most, and some more. You lack some community though. I visit you about each day.
Anyway isnt those threads a little bit to much advertising, including mine hehe

EDIT: Noted that some others had noticed this aswell. Just wanted to say that so you dont think im just taking ideas. I hate it when i say something and one half hour later someone else say almost exacly the same and gets credit like it was his idea.

Well, there is not really much more to this thread than the Hyrule.net stuff until someone tell us about the DVD. Sounds great so MAYBE i will buy it. How do you get everything to fit on a single DVD

(i wouldnt get suprised if this post got deleted by mods lol)

At E3, Nintendo showed about 1:17 minutes of a unique trailer / gamefootage on the big screen in the Zelda booth. They have not released this in public yet, not even after a lot of asking them about it. Nevertheless, we've got it in high res. off the big screen.

It depends on where you've been really. IGN insider has shown some extra stuff then other sites, but even if you've seen everything of them and of other sites, there are still some things you haven't seen yet. We've (almost) completely ripped the demo of all it's secrets and you can see about 95% of the entire demo on the DVD's. Besides that, I think a 25 minute video preview is pretty unique, we've got some screens in a slideshow we haven't even shown on the site yet, we've got a never before seen extended version of the Spaceworld 2000 demo and even more stuff. I haven't made pictures of it, but I think it's best if the topic starter, when he orders it, tells you himself what he thinks of it. I think that's more objective then me telling you all sorts of things.

Building a community is not something you do in one day. But we're still young and we've got some things up our sleeves.

It's a double DVD. For two reasons:
1) to have the highest possible quality of everything
2) to make it possible copyright-technically (got called out of bed by Nintendo at 9am for that )
