does any body know if there will be a playable demo for everyone of tp

i really woould like to be able to play the E3 demo at home wouldnt everybody else since it has been delayed for 6 months

There will be a demo available. Just not for us.
For the gamecube demo units maybe. ( in the stores )

As far as I know there are already some stores that have the E3 demo playable. I doubt we'll get it on a demo disk of some sort, though, because Nintendo rarely does those kinds of promotions. It's a shame, really. Giving away a demo disk every few months in gaming magazines would do wonders for GameCube sales.

Yea i know. Think of how sky-high the sales would go if they did that!

Demos suck, I want the full thing, I hate when you’re really in to the game-demo, but since they offer one or two stages only, they cut you’re advancing-fun to zero. Leaving you feeling like an orphan on a rainy day...

I love demos, as long as they aren't timed, like WW on the Zelda collecters edition. That was stupid. I did like that I got to see the gfx in a dark area, which totally swayed me to buy the game. I can easily see nintendo realesing a demodisk with a few other games, along with some DS games, and REV games, like metroid prime hunters (or whatever the next Samus game is), and maybe (hopefully) zelda DS. I just got a DS, and I'm looking for any sign of the new title for it (if there is one!)

by the end of this year or the begining of next we'll probably have a demo, it's simply good marketing.

There should be one for the next collectors edition.

Take a step back and think about what you're saying here. GameCube sales could never be affected by giving away demo discs. Unless of course you make the NINTENDO demo disc playable on Playstation and Xbox. You can't play the Nintendo GambeCube demo disk unless you already have a Nintendo GameCube. You're being silly.

Demo discs might help game sales, but I somehow doubt it makes them more than it costs to put them together overall (which is why we don't see them - it's not good marketing, vacumgod).

Personally I don't like demos. I don't want to play any part of a game (especially one like LoZ, with its rich environment and story) before I can sit and immerse myself totally in it. Think about playing the first little bit, then not being able to touch it for months, then when you finally get it and play that first little bit, the magic is gone.

Poo to demos, I say.

Ahhhh.....I wouldn't say that necessarily. Remember the Wind Waker Demo? The whole reason I bought Gamecube was because I had played tWW at my friend's house.

I think that they should release the E3 demo, or more likely, give it away in Nintendo Power with a couple other GC game demoes on it. (*crosses fingers* come on Super Mario Strikers!)

I meant GameCube games. D'oh.

I have played the twilight princess demo exstensivly at E3 and at comic-con and i can say that the demo should be released to the public. its extensive and covers every aspect of a traditional zelda game. it has a quite village, a horesback combat sequence, a dungeon and a dungeon boss. its a nice meaty demo without actually spoiling anything. i question the mentality of anyone who would come away dissappointed with the demo. really wish nintendo would get on the ball with this one. keep gamers minds active about the game.

Let me tell you now, first hand, Twilight Princess is going to be [popsicling] AWESOME. Shame the TV kinda sucked, and I believe TP needs a bit more anti-aliasing, but it was only in the Beta stage :p Unfortunately, I was only able to do the Toaru Village and the Mauruder(sp?) Horse-Back battle, but man It was amazing. My Hands were shaking(But I was STILL gettin the headshots!! XD )...my knees were weak, I was overcome, I was fully immersed, the way I wanted it to be. A Few people started to gather around, so I started to go stylish on horse back Took a bit longer then I expected it too, though. There's a couple of engine flaws, like, on the run up and slash battle with the mauruder tribe lieader, I stopped right at the edge by accident, and I couldn't turn around!! I was stuck!! Luckily I was able to edge my way out and use some carrots, AND kill of the boss just in time xD And the other one is where I go to bang into the boss, and I actually reflect off of him >.> I go to slash and I end up in the other direction. I'm like 'WTF? You bastard, come here!! XD'

In the Toaru Village demo, you can also get the sword!! Not that poxy stick, as in the real one you see in all of those screenies!! They've changed the Hack 'n' slash sstem a bit, he twirls around a little, too. You can do up to 5 or 6 slashes in a succession now, as supposed to the 3 or 4 in Ocarina of Time or Wind Waker. Its also a lot more fluid, too, which I loved.

You can also get items, hearts out of a lot more stuff now, too, like Pumpkins. If you actually go to save the Pregnant woman's hand made cradle, and take it to her house, she gives you a big pumpkin (which you have to collect). Smash it, and you get a heart, which I thought was quite awesome.

I beat the libing hell out of this scare crow, too, which I thought was quite awesome Unfortunately, the demo ended after 15 mins, which means you could either quit, or start from the beginning again.

I'm telling you guys, this game will blow your mind. This is THE Zelda you've been waiting for. Oh, and, as for those 'Southern Texan accents you guys were fearing if Voice overs were in, don't worry, they're not. I heard the guy say Hey! And it was a perfectly normal voice, I quite liked it, actually. Which means all of my remaining fears about Voice overs have been taken away.

Link and the Mayor getting scared of Ilia was rather funny :p There's a lot more stuff in Toaru Village I wasn't able to check out, that IGN Video showed barely nothing, to be completely honest. In the demo, though, I wasn't able to dive, which I found kinda odd. But all in all, this game...man...just amazing

I've played the E3 demo at the Eastbourne Air Show back in August, and it is definately going to be one of the best zeldas. I also got to play all 4 stages. The Marauder battle and Forest Temple were wicked, and the Gale Boomerang works really well.

Yep. I'd say that if the Forest temple wasn't so easy, it would be far ahead of the Marauder Battle for it's inventive puzzles alone. Not to mention that the monkeys are well cool. If they end up doing more stuff than just letting you cross over gaps, Makar is in for an awesomeness challenge.

Well, yes there probably will be but probably not until Dec. or Jan. Or maybe even Feb. You never know. What would be awesome is if you can get a demo disk. They sometimes give out demo disks with new GC systems or with new games and if you buy a GC in late Feb. it might have a disk with it that has a bunch of demos on it and Twilight Princess included. But that might not be true. Nintendo likes to keep things secret sometimes.

sometimes? SOMTIMES? most accuratley most of the time. i dont see much gamecube demos. only the collecters addition and OOT master quest is all a have ever seen demowise.
