Twilight Princess for Nintendo Revolution?

Do you think it would've been better for nintendo to make the twilight princess and release it for Nintendo Revolution?

Personally I think they should've done that. It would've meant better graphics, sound, and could make the system sell more.

Re: Twilight Princess for Nintendo Revolution?

Dude, I have about a million things to say. First, wrong section. Future Zelda would have been a better choice. Next, TP WILL NOT BE ON THE REVOLUTION. Does Nintendo have to spell it out for you? G-A-M-E-C-U-B-E. Yes, you can can play it on the Rev, but it wouldn't be a Revolution game.

Re: Twilight Princess for Nintendo Revolution?

Moved to Future Zelda.

Nintendo has stated several times that Twilight Princess will release on Gamecube. And I prefer this decision. They can always make another Zelda game for the Revolution, and build it from the ground up with Revolution in mind.

maybe a higher res, thats the only way for them to make the graphics "better" without having to rework the textures, delaying the game further. and how would sound be affected?

Re: Twilight Princess for Nintendo Revolution?

they are too far along in develepment to simply move it over. and with the completey new control scheming on the REV they would have to start over-not gonna happen. Too many ordered this one already.

Wow, good job on not reading his post, of course TP with be on the GC, no **** sherlock, he's just simply commenting on how TP's garphics would have been about 3-5x's better if it were developed for the revolution.

Re: Twilight Princess for Nintendo Revolution?

Wow!!! You've seen pics from the Revolution games?! Amazingly stupendous! There aren't any pics of Revolution games yet. The only thing closest to this was the Metroid Prime vid from E3 that was said to be made on GC Development hardware.

Anyways, regarding the topic, they are developing a Revolution-specific Zelda game anyways. Plus, not only would graphics change, but control would too. I don't see much point in Nintendo marketing a console with its innovative features such as the controller with a game that used tradition control methods. In other words, the game would have to be too much different to release it on the Rev. Also, imagine all the uproar if TP were delayed yet again to suit being released on Rev. Oh my golly gosh.

Re: Twilight Princess for Nintendo Revolution?

Let's make something clear here. The guy isn't wondering if TP will be on the revolution.

He's wondering if it would have been better if they WOULD have moved it to the revolution. So he knows that it's going to be on the gamecube. Maybe you need a better tittle for this topic like "Would it have been better if TP had been moved to Revolution" ... well maybe something shorter, but you get the point.

Still... There's have been way to many topics about this, even though this one is different, it would have been better if you posted it in an already excisting topic.

Re: Twilight Princess for Nintendo Revolution?

I don't think it would ahve been better, as we would have had to wait MUCH longer so that they could rework the ENTIRE engine for the game which they have already worked on for so long.

Re: Twilight Princess for Nintendo Revolution?

Well, that woild have made TP a pilot game for Rev, and Zelda games are never pilots for Nintendo. Mario is. In fact, waiting to release it onto Rev would've delayed it more. And include the facts that the Rev will be backwards-compatible and my realtor grandmother retired so my grandparents are not getting a Rev(see sig), and I am quite happy that Nintendo decided to release TP onto the GCN.

Re: Twilight Princess for Nintendo Revolution?

No, I don't think that it would've been a good idea, as it would mean totally reworking a game that people are inredibly hyped up for. Plus, people don't want to pay for a new system just for one game that was going to be released on something they already own.
