When/Where do you want new Zeldas to be set?

Where/When do you want new Zeldas to be set? I'd like the idea of something at the time of or after MM. I'd like to know why the hero didn't return. (We'll probably find out in Twilight Princess.) Anyway where and when wpuld you like future zeldas to be set?

I like them to be set after LA, because I really want to know what happens after he lands in the middle of the oceans. Or I want them to be set before Oot. Ok, I know Oot is the first game in the storyline, but how come they have been speaking in Oot about the legend of the hero of time, so that means that before link became the hero of time, The legend already knew that there will be someone as the hero of time(even the deku tree knew that). And another proof: links mother came to the deku tree because she was injured in a socalled war. But which war was it? how did the war existed? that's why I want to see a zeldagame that is before Oot, so you can see how things happened, how the legend started, how the war started, etc.

Go back to the very beginning. I'd love a Ganondorf origin game. One in which he wasn't the main villain. I'd like it if he was an ally at the beginning and we slowly got to see him turn to evil. He could be the king of Hyrule's advisor or a young adventurer like Link who gets enchanted by the prospect of fame and power. He could even be a Lover for Zelda and then something could go wrong, that twists him (a la Anakin Skywalker). I'd like a reason to feel more sympathetic toward Ganon, instead of him just representing pure evil.

Another idea would be to bring the three goddesses into this story in a more active way. Make it the Edenic tale of Hyrule. Hyrules first Fall, right after the world was created by the goddesses.

Here's another.
They did the water with WW (although Link never dove like he could in OoT - why not?). Now they could do air. Make Hyrule a kingdom in the clouds. Put things on airships (primitive, like goblin dirigibles of WarCraft) Link could travel on a bird's back (or a dragon!).

Meh. Ok, maybe not a whole game, but since alternate realities (or "other realms of existence") are such an ubiquitous theme in LoZ, why not a Sky Realm or Land of Air? Or go a step more conservative and have Link climb a mountain and enter a cloud country right above Hyrule (didn't the early maps have something like this? or am I misremembering?)

New item possibility: hanglider (again old, rustic style - something da Vinci would have designed). I don't think this is too much, but others might.

I would like to see a game about the seven lost years in OOT and how Zelda became Sheik.

Other from that I would love to see a HOT comeback for another adventure after MM, but thats probably not going to happen anyway.

The origin of the Master Sword. So, obviously before Ocarina of Time. I want to know how the blade got so Legendary, who created it, when and why.

It sounds like we all want an origins game. The game before the legend as it were. I hope they do it. It would be a crowd-pleaser and it would answer some questions about the Zelda Universe.

On the other hand, maybe the mystery behind the legend is what keeps the series interesting on some level. A prequel might kill the series. It could go either way.

I want a game that takes place in the "kingdom" that Link and Tetra were supposed to make, or whatever. Maybe the water level could drop back down, or something...

Uhh. After Wind Waker. The idea of having everything completed and revealed in [to be revealed in] Twilight Princesss washed way in a flood isn't the most appealing concept to me, but seeing as it offers closure to the Hero of Time's adventures-- it only is fitting to put it in closer proximity, given that there is a sizable gap between the two games.

Anything that you think may happen one day, but no one knows what the future will lead to us. It shall have lots of suprises beyond your imagination!

i want it right after wind waker. 'cause MM comes right after OoT, and WW could come right after MM 'cause in wind waker, the legend refers to when link was saving hyrule in OoT. i think...=D

i dont like the idea of a cloud game, i think cloud worlds are kinda too....i dunno, cloudy....

but lets see, i wouldnt mind a sequel to wind waker where you go beyond the ocean playable in WW. cuz i dunno bout you guys, but i tried to go as far off the map as i could to see what would happen, and eventually the boat says "it is too dangerous beyond this point, we must turn back now." well i like danger, so i want to see what's beyond that point

It doesn't say that he doesn't return. In fact, he do return, as shown in MM. That he doesn't return is completely fan-made.

Anyway, rather than seeing an origin game, I'd rather see one that places LoZ and AoL into the timeline, and possibly connects them to the earlier legend, ALttP. Seeing as ALttP, not included AoL of obvious reasons, is the only game where Link gains the Power of Gold in its complete form, there's at the moment no other game that can explain how the Triforce fell into the hands of the Royal Family so that the legend of the Sleeping Princess can occur.

And I want Pig Ganon to be the final boss, and Death Mountain should be his domain.

When/where would I like them to be set, you ask? Whenever there's a plothole, that's where. Fill in those holes with video gaming soil, Big N! Keep them tankers rollin'!
