The Twilight Princess...

I was remebering back to a certain character from OOS (or A) her name was Verna princess of darkness.. This is her prolouge:

Veran

The Sorceress of Shadows is up to evil things, and plans to take of the entire land of Labrynna and cover it with darkness. By using the powers of the Oracle of Ages, Veran is dangerously close to fulfilling her evil plans. Only one can stop her, and that one is a hero of the Hylian bloodline.

Could this be the Twilight Princess?
A return of a mystical character?
Or am I merley thinking about this to hard?

Veran being the Twilight Princess is about as likely as Midna's hat being Majora's Mask.

good suggestion but the game is set before ooa and that will mean that veran isnt a witch yet but you have a good theory!
