Twilight Princess Rupees

Does anyone know how the rupees will be displayed? Because some of the games have different color rupees for different ammounts. Well i dunno.

Same as WW (I think)

Green: 1
Blue: 5
Yellow: 10
Red: 20
Purple: 50
Orange: 100
Silver: 200

And orange 500. But apart from that theres no reason to change, its always been like this.

I hope you can collect 5000 rupees just likeTww, but I don't think they would do that.

I hope not. That made the game way too easy. Red potion, 50 rupees? No problem.

In OoT: 50 rupees? That's a little pricey............. No thanks. I'm saving up for __________.

Its just more fun with 500.

ok maybe 5000 is to much, but I rather choose 1000 or 2000 or something. I hate it when it's 999.

I think Nintendo will go with tWW theme... and you can carry tons of rupees. 2000 atleast

I think the rupee's are just like the WW. On the demo you see like get a yellow one worth 10. But i don't know yet.

I liked the wallet system in The Wind Waker, aside from the fact that you get them from Great Fairies.

i hope there's an actual reason i would need the money in this game. potion? i'll go grab a few fairies instead. arrows? i'll go mow the lawn. But maybe in tp you'll have to pay a toll to get somewhere, or there are optional items you can buy.

I hope they have a bank in TP, I really liked the Clock Town Bank in Majora's Mask.

yeah - the bank would help with how much money you'd get in such an enormous world. And they could have one in every city.
And a good point about the money really being worthless. They should make some items that you need to finish the game only available in some shop somewhere. And pay tolls for some things. Make a lot more mini-games to take your money away... And they should make potions more valuable too. Like cheap and easy to find at a shop - plus making fairy fountains really hard to find. And making it so you cant catch fairies in bottles yourself - or not straight away anyway (have to get some kind of magic fairy grabbing gloves ora net or something).

I'd like to see it go back to the same rupee colours as OoT, myself.

Have you seen the thing in the trailer in Taoru village where he uses the bird to attack the bee-hive. If you listen closely to the guys words you'll see he says something about the Bees making the money out of their honey. Honey honey.....I've got a lot of money...

Okay, so the speeding ticket thing was a bit much.

But taxes I wouldn't mind. They need to start giving us reasons to manage our money. Plus, it makes for good education, especially if they use 'real' economic systems as models for the Hylian system. I would enjoy that, thoroughly.

You mean like an actual reason to have money? Yeah, I agree.

id like to see the bank come back too, and besides, i bet the rupee system/colors/amopnts will stay the same

i wonder iff they'r evr gonna have a gold ruppee?

anyhow, i reckon they r gonna b the same as in all the other zelda games
