Um..TP look like MP to you?

I absolutely cannot wait until TP comes out but...The trailers sorta look like...Metroid Prime stuff...it sounds weird but the enemys and stuff look fit to be in Metroid, such as the funny lookin' things that fall out of the sky in the beginning of the E3 trailer...Does anybody agree with me on this?

Yeah, Metroid Prime and Twilight Princess are alike in about no way. The only similarity is that Nintendo was involved with both of them.

They are worlds apart in style and atmosphere.

They're right. I tried to think of a way in which the two were similar, and nothing comes to mind. Nevertheless, I'm just as stoked about TP as when I first saw the thirty minutes of live gameplay footage from IGN.

Since when has a little imp helped Samus through the game? I get what you mean though... Dark Aether and the Twilight being slightly similar, but you do not change while in Dark Aether, and you do not take damage (just guessing) while in the Twilight.

Plus, Dark Aether is an alternate dimension of Light Aether. Nothing like the Twilight, which is like a cancer, slowly taking over all of Hyrule.

Plus, when has link ever had a coolio gun on his right arm that shoots cool looking lights that blow crap up? If only that could happen...

*sigh* Didn't anyone read the rest of his post? He said some of the enemies look similar. I find that the twilight creatures (and that weird black thing coming out of the ground in the forest in the second or first trailer) have many things in common with some of the enemies I've seen in MP. Now, I've never played Metroid Prime myself (well, I played a demo, but I didn't get the controls and it was boring where I was), but some of the creatures in MP look a bit like the Twilight Realm creatures. And I don't think he was trying to say "d00d liek TP is teh zame as Metriod Primme!111!11!!5!!", but just noting that a few of the enemies look similar. Give him a break.

the graphics are somewhat similar, and the enemies share the same sort of creepiness.Yes, i have played metroid prime, in fact, i own both.

i agree completely about those black, shadow creatures you see in that one shot. they look like the Ing from Metroid Prime 2. i looked at those and thought, those look like the Ing.

Metroid is a science fiction series. Some sci-fi elements are being incorporated into Twilight Princess (I believe that was mentioned in some interview). The Twilight in particular certainly has a rather sci-fi atmosphere, and those black twilight beings are remniscent of the Ing. I think that's really all there is to it.

Maybe they might look the same but I doubt that Nintendo tried to make it look the same or got some ideas from metroid prime, considering the differnce in technology and the time period. I think it just might be a coinsidence. No, I dont think metroid prime looks like TP because some enimies

where do u get that feeling? i dont think they look like metriod prime at all. but i guess kinda the graphics and how link moves around, and how it looks.... i thik its just how the way lkink moves, and that the graphics are so good, but i disagree w./ the m.p. thing
