Zelda DS Name?

Ok we all know that the gimmick for Nintendo is to have part of the consoles name in the name of the game, example, Super Mario 64, Donkey Kong 64 and so on.

Well they started this with the DS aswell!

Sometimes Nintendo lack in creativity and sometimes thrive in creativity, I think they will stick with the DS gimmick though.

And this got me thinking, what will be the name for Zelda DS, well simply Zelda DS.

It coule be Zelda: Dual Swords, or something else, what do you think the new DS Zelda's name will be?

Hmmm Nintendo has always been pretty creative when it comes to Zelda names, So its a pretty hard to say if they will go with something along with DS... or be just another one of those random Zelda names

All we can do is wait for the game. Sadly, I have no DS, the controls will be over-the-head to me. The title could be The Legend of Zelda: The Fall of Hyrule, or even The Legend of Zelda: Sony Sucks. But all we can do is laugh at the countless, false rumors for ZDS.

i actually haven't been very fond of some of the name-puns of the DS games out (even if Nintendo didn't actually come up with some of them)

example:
Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow (from Konami, not Nintendo)
Advance Wars: Dual Strike (Intelligent Systems, which is generally owned by Nintendo)

to be honest, they're great names (probably great games too), i just don't particularly care for the DS pun they "have" to use.

The only thing I know about this game is that it's a sequel to Four Swords-I got my Information at IGN.

I know what it could be called:The Legend Of Zelda: Dip S**t.....Lol, get it? DS

I dont really know what nintendo might call the DS game but i hope its something better then twilight princess. The Twilight princess name kinda was weird at first but know its only okay...I hoped it will be called something kinda cool like The Legend Of Zelda: A Cry Of Pain

You know what's be cool? "Ocarina of Time DS", and a sequel "Majora's Mask DS".

I mean, the games have already been re-made before, but the idea of taking OOT on the road with you is really cool.

I think they SHOULD remake the N64 Zelda titles. Or at least OoT. I'm honestly thinking about getting a DS soon, but only if I can afford it after coming back from an anime con in Denver. But I digress. If they decide to use the "DS" thing in the Zelda title, it should be something that sparks interest and not just another "let's make it be DS just cos it's funny" type thing. But I highly doubt they will do that personally. The Zelda games have always been known for creative names in my point of view, and I doubt this one will be any different.

Wasn't it stated that FS DS was a working title? Therefore its subject to change, and probably will.

..I could sware he said it wasn't Four Swords...

No, it was confirmed it will be a whole new zelda game, stated in the interview!

Well, that still proves my point.

I'm glad its going to be a MM sized game (not huge like OoT but not a side one like FSA). If the title was Four Swords, that almost assures another side quest.

We're so blinded by TP, we're forgetting about DS and Revolution. They might prove to be great games, better than OoT!

I'd like to see something along the lines of tWW for creativity, and Oot for graphics. One thing that I think Nintendo should do for the ZeldaDS game is utilize the Wi-Fi to have one huge world & story, have players download new types of items, sidequests, and miniworlds with the rupees they gather, and chat with friends, sort of a MMORPG for the DS.

Maybe even allow the player to choose a character race for the multiplayer feature too? That would be sweet to see a buncha Zoras and stuff running around. lol o.o! OoT MMORPG......X3 imagine the possibilities.

I'm hoping for an original name.
But as for me knowing what the name is, I have absolutely no clue.

in most... i think all zelda games, they dont say the system name after it, and i doubt thgey will. i think nintendo is creative w/ their ZELDA names, and i think the zelda DS game, wont be called that, and anyways i dont think they have to much progress in the DS game, cuz i think there working equally on the revolution game now, oh, and t.p. (cuz of the delay)... so i think it'll be a while before we get the name
