Zelda for DS?

I just got my new issue of GI mag, and it says they are planning to make a Zelda game for the Nintendo DS. Does anybody have info about it? What is it going to be like? Post here if you have any details...

i dont have any information on a new zelda game but what have you heard about it.

Nice thats gotta be a cool game better get my money ready...lol My DS is at my cousins i get it back tommorow i think then tomorrow i'll pm someone with a DS and we can do pictochat

All we know is that in an interview with EA I think it was, he said "it isn't Four sword" like every one thought it would be, apparently its an all new adventure.
To my knowlege there is no other information other than that.

not much is known about the new Zelda for DS but a big thing that has people shocked is that you swipe your sword with the stylist i believe

yes, this is all pretty old info.... we dont know much about it yet, other then its not a four swords, and that the touch screen may be used alot.

Ya think nintendo would go overboard with the stylus pen? Or stick with classic Zelda controls.

I know you are lying because everyone recieves Game Informer around the same time. there for we would ALL know about it, well those with game informer

It sounds cool, but I hear it's supposed to be a Four Swords game. I hope they don't ruin it! But it's hard to really ruin a Zelda game.

It is going to be a normal Zelda game, no fourSword BS.

Thats good, four swords is a bit repetitive, i never got round to buying it...

people, i wish you would all stop dissing four swords without truly playing it how it was meant to be played-with 3 other people. no, it isn't a mainline zelda game, but it's not supposed to be, it's supposed to be something fun for 4 ppl to do.

Not true, time varies depending on where you live.

And as for Zelda DS, this is pretty old news. But I'm looking forward to a whole new adventure using the touch screen!

I just got this crazy idea that they might make TLOZ: OoT for the Nintendo DS! Its just that they made Super Mario 64, and why cant they make Zelda? Discuss it all here!

have you played Oot on n64? You'll see there is much pixels and other things and you only can make them better if you have the expansion pak. But if they put Oot on DS then the graphics will be worst than ever."Its just that they made Super Mario 64": Did you ever play super mario 64?it's just different, because super mario 64 wasn't made with the same engine as Oot. And in super mario 64 there isn't much details in the game but in Oot there is alot details. that's why the quality of Oot on DS will not be suceeded.

They could make a game with SIMILAR grafics thought.

Regardless of the graphical issue (and i think the DS would support Oot's graphics just fine) we've seen way too many ports of Oot already, and i don't care about getting another one
I'm much more interested in original games, and Nintendo can't ride on OoT's success forever.
