Would YOU want A sequel to Wind Waker?

It doesn't really have to have cel-shaded graphics, it can just carry exactly, (Or pretty much where they left off).

I would, the story was different and well-done, and the graphics matched the story perfectly, but it doesn't matter what type of graphics they would have.

Re: Would YOU want A sequel to Wind Waker?

The ending to tWW was pretty good and sorta just lefted there, for all we know AoL is a sequel to tWW.

But with so many new Zelda games coming, I am sure we will have to have something AFTER tWW sequel or no sequel.

Re: Would YOU want A sequel to Wind Waker?

Wind Waker wasn't all that good of a Zelda game. I loved the game itself, but it didn't fit Zelda as much as it could have. Too bad they locked "Wind Waker sucks." thread, because that thread was awesome and had the greatest discussion I've ever seen period. The graphics were beautiful, but the lack of great gameplay that makes Zelda so great wasn't there. Anyway, I'd love to see a sequel to it, it would make it pretty interesting to see a new evil rise up, and no Master Sword to defend against it heh.

I really don't care if they make a sequel to it or not. And if they do, they need to at least develop it properly rather than rush through it. Overall, WW is a good game, but at some parts it did feel too rushed. *shrug* I don't really wanna see 'em revamp WW like they did with OoT though. Especially not with it still out on the market whereas OoT was old news long before they released the Master Quest.

Don't care
I like how you refused to add just a plain 'no' to your poll, because although I like the game and all, I really don't think it should have a sequel. Why? No, not because it doesn't "deserve" one, and definetly not because the story was too "childish" (by the way, what the heck about that story was childish?). Even though it had it's flaws, it was a great game, but I think the story should just end at the finishinng of it. Why, well because 1. more people can write fan fictions about it and some people like reading them, and 2. I really don't feel like having to decide which game is better *cough* OoT/MM *cough*

What about releasing a WW master quest, that would be good, just think about it, add more levels and mini quests and other things.

I put yes and cel-sharded. I love those graphics they were a change from the realistic one's and lovely. I think the sequal should be on rev and would just like it to be a bit longer.

Yes, I would very much like a sequle to tWW, prehaps a different art direction, but keep the game cell-shaded.

I totally agree that a WW sequel in releastic graphics would be a foolish move.

Yeah, I agree. If they were to make a sequel to WW it would just have to be Cel-Shaded. I would love to see a sequel, perhaps with an older Cel-Shaded Link.

Of course! The ending of The Wind Waker was basically screaming for a sequel. If Nintendo fixes the problems gamers had with WW, then it would be very interesting.

Re: Would YOU want A sequel to Wind Waker?

Sure why not? Would be fun seeing people pay 40-50$ for WW2, sitting there for 5-40 hours and then watch them come here to rant about how much it sucked.

Well I would enjoy a sequel, especially if it was big as TP. But they would need to spend more time on the sequel for it to be worthwhile.

See, now that's something I don't want to happen. TWW is a good game, but it really doesn't deserve to have "Master Quest." Especially when Nintendo's already done that with OoT. That's the problem with the new-to-video/dvd nonesense with movies nowadays. Everything's a "special edition" with deleted scenes and alternate endings. I certainly don't want Nintendo to fall into a hole where they have to readd all the cut dungeons of a Zelda game everytime a new title graces the market. But that's just me.

Re: Would YOU want A sequel to Wind Waker?

Hell ya! I'm really anxious to see a cel-shaded sequel to WW, but for the time being, I think that WW really needs a Master Quest to be released, because we all know that it was too much if an easy game. And the creators even mentioned to us that there was two dungeons that got cut out, so now a lot of fans want to see a new "special edition" of WW to be released so that we can experience the extra dungeons and see if it would change the opinion of many, who said that the game was "Too Short" or "Too Easy". I hope to see the sequel in the future as well as a Master Quest of WW soon enough.

Re: Would YOU want A sequel to Wind Waker?

i would love to see what happens to link, tetra, and all that, but i'm not sure what kind of story it would be. i mean, ganon is all turned to stone and flooded miles under the surface, so it'd be a new villain....maybe vaati? but it would be cool
